We flew into Newport News on a scheduled flight arriving near 2:30 pm on a Sunday.. The National desk was closed. The Enterprise desk was open and processing the National rentals. They were swamped. They apologized profusely but there was a wait of about 20 minutes just to get to the desk. The check-in went smoothly. Picking up the car was no problem. There could be a little more explanation of the return process.
The 2016 had a strong scent of smoke. Additionally, The return date and time scheduled (Sat, 4:00 p.m.) was when the facility was closed (they close at noon on Sat). The agent should have made a special point of warning me of this situation and instructing me where to put the keys.
I loved the service I received; I also really liked the Toyota Camry that I rented. The salesperson (I think her name was Shamicka [sp?]), was knowledgeable, efficient and super--friendly. I will be returning again. Thanks!
