I’ve been a patient of Dr. Goldberg for almost 20 years now. I go to him for skin cancer and I’ve had about 8 or 9 procedures done. I come every 6 months or so and he does a review of my skin and looks around to see if there’s anything that looks suspicious and if there is he takes a biopsy and then you wait for the results. If it’s clean you see him again in 6 months, if it’s not clean then you come in for the Mohs procedure. Today I had the liquid nitrogen treatment for a solar keratoses – it’s not cancer but it could lead to it. It went well. Dr. Goldberg’s an excellent doctor and he has an excellent staff. With all of my experiences, the medical treatment and everything, I’ve been very, very satisfied and I would recommend him to anybody. He’s a very good doctor. The only thing is if you get the biopsy they usually notify you within 2 weeks and if you don’t hear anything that usually means there’s no problem. But with the waiting, you worry during those 2 weeks and it’s a very tense and worrisome period. I don’t know what other way it could be done, but I’d like it if they let you know one way or the other.
i probably shouldn't be writing this because its kind of awkward, but whatever. let me begin. i was a chubby kid (i'm talking hamburgers every night) and well, it wasn't attractive. after losing copious amounts of weight and actually caring about the way i look, i got fit. but along with that, came those stretch marks. they were mostly located around my stomach area. i got the ktp laser treatment bc it has no downtime, and i'd rather not be in pain while i'm at work or playing basketball. after the first treatment, i was a bit skeptical but results starting improving a lot after each session, you just have to stick with it. i'm just glad that i'll be able to go to the beach without being self conscious of my stretchmarks. hopefully someone finds this helpful.
I went to Dr. Davis for laser hair removal and the treatment was quick (worked in 6 treatments - fyi one doesn't see results until about 5 and then they are dramatic). I also tried American Laser for a different body area and it took many more treatments (double) to have a result. I also use Dr. Davis to treat acne and she is very clear about the pros and cons of different treatments and will let one try samples of different topical medicines so one can chose the one the works best for one's lifestyle and body chemistry. It's easy to get an appointment quickly and there's little time wasted in the waiting room. Over all, I think she's a great doctor!
