Success! Thanks for posting your review of Uncle Jack's Steakhouse. You’ve done the world some good today.

The best there is!

My wife and I had dinner here on Feb. 14, 2012. We usually go to other high end restaurants in the area (Rothmann's, Ruth Chris', Frankie & Johnny's) but decided to try someplace new. We are both glad we did. Everything was great! Our waiter was Christopher. He was always there when you wanted him but did not hang all over you all the time. Nor did he try to sell you something. He just made a suggestion, if t... view more

Best steak in NYC

One of the best meals I've had in New York and it's just round the corner. The steak was sensational the sides of onions, mushrooms and broccoli were terrific the baked potato was perfect and the strudle was to die for. While great cooking helps to make a great meal it was Tracy who made us feel special. He did not just ask if we had a great meal he offered advice, he talked and really cared about his customers. Fabulous Steakhouse

Uncle Jack's is awesome. They have great Wednesday night special for the ladies, that is free cheese and wine! What more can you ask for? Well, you can ask for some beef. Their waygu steak is awesome but it is $100 per serving so it is kind of expensive. If you don't want to break your bank, their regular cuts are fabulous too. I came today for their lunch special, which is quite reasonable and comes with good... view more

Great Deals and Steak

My co-blogger and I took a friend here last night as a thank-you dinner for doing design work for our blog - 89th and Broke. We decided on Uncle Jack's for a number of reasons, but mainly we wanted to try out one of their deals. Thursday night is Ladies and Gents Night, meaning you get a free martini (for the ladies) or scotch, port, whiskey and bourbon (for the gents) at the bar from 5-7. These free drinks are typic... view more

Fabulous for lunch or dinner

Definitely can't understand the couple few who had a negative experience eating at Uncle Jack's Steakhouse in midtown (unclejacks, com). I eat there all the time for many of the reasons people who enjoyed their experience talked about. Uncle Jack's is definitely first class all the way. From the time you walk through the door to the time you leave, I genuinely feel that the wait staff does there best to give you the u... view more

The best!

The Uncle Jack's Steakhouse on West 56th Street is in a great location--by midtown, Broadway, Rockefeller Centre. But even when I'm not in the neighborhood, I keep coming back. Usually we order the Porterhouse, which is rich and red on the inside and nicely crisped on the outside. However, I recently branched out and tried their Kobe beef, and was very impressed (personally, I'm a little confused by the nay-sayers). ... view more

Pretty Good

My wife and I took our mothers here for Christmas dinner. The service staff was friendly and prompt ever though they were extremely busy. We have eaten a upper scale steakhouses throughout the USA and Uncle Jacks rates up there with the usual ones, ie Ruth's Chris, Morton's, The Palm etc..., the filets were good, mashed sweet potatoes fantastic and the prime rib chop ok. I wouldnt exactly go out of my way to get... view more

Not what I expected, in a bad way.

Describe Uncle Jack's 56th Street location in one word? Disappointing. The place came recommended by a friend, along with a gift card. The best part of our meal was the sweet potato fries. For a $260 meal I expect more than good fries. The wait staff was professional and cordial, our cocktails well-made, the decor on par for a Manhattan steakhouse. But it was the food, especially the Kobe steak, that was such a disap... view more

This place is terrible, the tuxedo bold waiter thought he is the President of the US. The food was ok...very expensive, the sides were good, desserts average. I like the decor alot.\r overall bad experience.
