I went here two weeks ago with my friend for a birthday. It was easily one of the best, if not THE best, meals I've ever had. If you do go, please get the oysters. It is all that people have raved about and more. I recommend to anyone.

Went here last night and was very disappinted! The food was below average and most of the clientele seemed to be out-of-towners who would be impressed by the ""bank vault"". Real New Yorkers wouldn't set foot in this place. Sadly, it seems the financial district doesn't have any non-cheesy, touristy, bad food spots... Leave this place alone and go grab a hot dog at Grays Papaya, the food is better there!\r And I tried the lobster bisque and it was waaay too salty and tasted really fishy...NOT GOOD! Take my advice, skip this place!!!!!! I think the good reviews are from people who work there or the owners posing as regular customers.

The food here is expensive, the portions are small, and it's not even that good. The service was slow, we had to keep asking our waitperson to come over. If you want fine dining, this is not the place to go. Bar scene seemed like more of their specialty.

It's really an amazing setting for drinks or dinner because you feel like you're somewhere in the past. It's an old bank vault in an historic building. It gets a bit loud when it's crowded because of the vault materials, but it's lots of fun. Both the food and drinks are as good as the setting.

This place is amazing.. The location which is a former Vault (as in money), was transformed into a speak easy type restaurnt influenced by the Irish Managing Partners background, as well as the hot staff, the Bartender(ess), is inticing with her accent, as well was heavy pouring hand.\r \r The food is all priced to please, huge beer list, as well as wine and cocktails, a massive space, with room to socialize and mingle as the bankers stop in after a long day, tourists find their way in, singles go there following the stream of attractive professionals they see heading in.\r \r Recently featured by a Womans magazine as one of the top places to meet men, there is an incresaignly guy girl ratio..\r \r
