Success! Thanks for posting your review of The Smith. You’ve done the world some good today.

Fun place

Service is good and so are the drinks. The food is great too if you're willing to wait since this place is always busy. Fun spot for brunch!

Great place to watch a match

Have been here a few times to watch my team play. Always a good crowd and always a good time. Also nice selection on tap. Worth a visit on a Saturday morning.

Upstairs and Downstairs

Once you get past the strict-but-not-rude doorman, you have a choice between going to the more sports-bar oriented upstairs or the wilder, (especially on Thursdays), downstairs bar. On Thursdays, COUCH SURFING (couchsurfing-DOT-com) hosts its get-togethers. You'll meet plenty of people from parts of the world you never heard of! It's a great mix, and everyone is friendly, including the bartender. The only problem is... view more

Soccer game mecca

A happening sports bar in East Village that plays soccer games! Hence, there are usually a lot of Europeans and South American Patrons. Came here on one week night before and it was really chill and drinks here are cheap. What is even better is that I saw Daniel Craig here! Came by again with friends on a Saturday night and it was totally different. There was live DJ spinning and it was happening. Drinks remain r... view more

""The Smith"" breaks ""The Curse""

When the Smith moved in to its current location on Third Avenue, I thought: “Well, this won’t last long.” After all, that particular address seemed to be cursed by a string of unsuccessful business ventures, including the most recent casualty – Pizzeria Uno. After actually going in and trying the food, I can gladly say that I was dead wrong. The Smith offers something that I haven’t seen in this area before – good... view more

Chic Hangout for brunch and dinner

I like every dish I have ordered here. The menu is simple but every dish is made well. It is not gourmet but it is good enough for you to enjoy a good time with friends and its ambiance.

US Soccer FANS UNITE!!!!

This is the best bar in the tri-state area to watch ALL USA Soccer Matches. Also any other sport for that matter. I love this BAR!!!! USA SOUTH AFRICA 2010!!!!!

A safe favorite

This is one of those classic go-to places that has a little something for everyone. The food is good, drinks are great, and the atmosphere is energetic and classic. It's best for groups or a casual bite - definitely not a quiet romantic date place. Make a reservation or be prepared to wait. Ive been here at least 2 dozen times and when I'm in the mood, it's perfect. Love the green bean salad, tomato soup and brunch m... view more

Great brunch, long wait

Love The Smith. Great, fun atmosphere. Delish food and overall fantastic brunch place. They just need to get a better hold on their seating. 4 hosts plus the manager at the front and still a lot of chaos and waiting past said time at the front. I would recommend visiting when the weather is nice so you can wait outside, watch all the hipsters and forego the fire hazard at the front door. Had the country breakfast -w... view more
