The Worst Treatment By A Day Spa Ever

    Provided by

This was the worst spa experience I have ever had. I booked the appoinment a month ago - 5 pm for facial and 6pm for massage. I run a business and rushed out to get there on time, only to have to wait almost 1/2 hour. By the time I got into the facial room, I was already irate. The person clearly rushed to ensure that I wasn't too late for my massage. She showed me the massage room, got undressed and laid on the massage table, waiting for someone to relax me and work out my work-induced kicks. The masseuse came in, looked at me and said ""which part of your body would you like me to touch since you only have a half hour."" Wait a minute.. I booked an hour massage and I was at the place on time. If your spa can't follow the schedule (the aesthetician complained about this to me), why penalize me. No answer from the young female at the desk, who lacks total customer service skills. So I was out my massage (they would have charged me full price despite the fact that they can't manage their schedule) and the masseuse was out her fee and tip. But, the dumb desk person absolutely didn't care at all. . \r \r I walked out more stressed than I arrived and what I thought would be a great way to wind down after a very busy work schedule became a nightmare. \r \r I am in my 50s and I have never been so rudely treated at a spa in my life. \r \r If this is how Skin Spa allows one location to run, I would NEVER go to another Skin Spa again. My husband purchased the facials as a treat for me and I bought the 60-minute massage (both series of three). Obviously , they need Groupon because, given the feedback, their retention rate sucks and if they keep selling series of three and people get grossed out after one visit, they are doing pretty good. \r \r Stay away from this place if you want to experience a day spa that leaves you feeling better than when you arrived.
