Group dining experience handled professionally
I live in Georgia and recently had an occasion to organize and host a gathering of a small group in NYC. We needed a private dining room so I went web shopping for the facility first and the food secondarily. This is when I came upon Rosie O'Grady's Times Square location. I called and spoke with the manager, Noel Leydon, and had a very positive experience from the beginning.
He worked with me to plan a menu within the budget parameters I had set and we came up with a fixed price dinner offering a choice of three entre selections. On arriving in NYC last Wednesday, I went by to check things out and absolutely everything was exactly as represented. Noel asked if we wanted anything changed. I asked for higher wattage light bulbs and they were changed within 5 minutes.
The service was impeccable and was overseen by Kyle, our head waiter and one assistant. The dinner was served and ready at the time requested. The Caesar Salad was chilled and delicious. Most of our group ordered the Norwegian Salmon and it was a 10 out of 10 for both taste and presentation. The portions were huge and it came to the table piping hot. No water glass went unfilled, coffee cup left empty and all of this was carried out in a quiet unobtrusive way with perfection. I have nothing but good things to say about Noel Leydon and his operation.
We hear the term ""exceeding expectations"" and Noel and Kyle went above and beyond in that regard. A wonderful evening in all respects.
