Been coming to this pizza place for a long time, before the remodeled and expanded the space. Pizza experience has been up and down over the years. Really like the pizza selection and quality is generally good. They went through a time when crusts got a bit too thick and quality went down for awhile but that is fixed now. On the negative side, you can no longer order slices for delivery, which is ridiculous. I understand the minimum dollar price but no slices, really? also, the service a lot of the time is much to be desired. The cashier woman always acts like she is doing your a favor by taking your order and chats on the phone in spanish a lot. Not the best service, to say the least.

The pizza at Rigoletto is fine..it's good when its fresh so ordering a pie is ideal. The problem, however, is the rude cashier and guys behind the counter. The Hispanic female cashier is unbelievably rude so I avoid this place on days when I don't feel like being treated like dirt.

We ordered a pizza for delivery and they sent us AN OLD PIZZA!! It was as stiff as cardboard and freezing cold...obviously it was a slow night for them and the pizza they sent was not made to order, but probably something left over that they couldn't sell as slices. Obnoxious for a pizza place to do something like this given how cheap it is to make a fresh pie!

Just got an anchovy and mushroom here. Their ingredients are good quality and the sauce is good. They do turn out a lot of pies, so there is the automaton problem, with getting some things clumped together and things like that. If I made pizzas professionally I would get fired for going too slow though. I'd want every one to be a masterpiece.\r \r More anchovies please :-)\r

OK for a neighbourhood pizza joint, but doesn't hold a candle to places like Posto's or Lombardi's...

The pizza is great. But the service is so bad it makes me not want to go back. Ordering a slice is like asking for a favor.

I am usually very upset when I try a new pizza place as I was use to cook them for few years, but rigoletto do great pizzas. I just discover it today and to write for them, because it just worth it so much.\r If you love pizza, don't think just go and enjoy.\r Prices are really reasonable.

Really good pizza with fresh toppings and enough customer traffic that the slices don't get all icky from sitting there. Cheese, crust, sauce to my liking. Crispy and chewy at the same time. Flavorful. Better atmosphere than some comparable pizza places.\r

I was meeting a friend on the upper west side and we walked by and decided to give it a try. The pizza not only looked declicious, nice big slices, but tasted even better. I love eggplant so decided to give that a try and it was one if the best i've had. My friend had a spinach mushroom slice that was just as good. We also both split a plain piece because we were both craving a little bit more. I will defnitely be back not only for the pizza, but there are great toppings to choose from and the service was good.

I went into this local establishment this Friday night in need of a ""non-meat"" dish, since I am observing Lent. I asked for an eggplant parm hero. It was very busy, since it was Friday during Lent, and raining.\r I waited for almost 15 minutes before inquiring as to the whereabouts of my hero. I was told, curtly, that it\r would be at least 15 minutes since it was so busy. I told him okay, and that I had already waited 15 minutes. He gave me a dirty look. Ten minutes later when the food finally came (it was to go) I noticed it\r was in a ""to go"" tin and not wrapped like a hero. I gave him my credit card and was surprised when it was\r $9.50, but what surprised me more was that it came with fries. I told him I did not order fries and he told me it came with fries. I asked if they do not sell heros alone. He again told me it came with it. I asked if I\r could have salad instead? He said ""no"". I said, ""forget it then and cancel the order"". He had already swiped my credit card and told me ""no"", he would not credit the card. He ended up giving me salad and thought that I should be happy. I was not. Upon returning to work, I went to the website for the pizza place and the menu lists an eggplant parm hero for $6.50. I will not go here again.

This is one of my favorite pizzerias in the city. The pizza is always delicious and there are usually many cool exotic toppings. The slices are huge, the crust is sooo crispy and delicious. My favorites are the spinach slice and the eggplant slice. I must warn you about the spicy chicken jalapeno slice....it is hot.....only order it if you can really take it. My poor friend couldn't eat it.
