I work 2.5 blocks away from here and I have to say, for the price and the service, it is a very good deal. I stopped in twice, and for both occasions I was in a rush to go to an event in the city. The staff was very friendly and accomodating and even gave me a free massage when I went there for the first time. The first time I went after work and the second during lunch and both times I received excellent service. It is affordable for a city nail salon and the friendly staff adds to the visit. The bordeaux color is what I got on my nails and I received many compliments. I would suggest calling in advance before going because it can get crowded. The guy who sits at the desk will usually tell you if it is a good time to go in. Overall, definitely a good Midtown nail salon, perfect for during or after work. Two thumbs up!

I work in the area and have been to other nail salons around here (Hans - not recommended) (5th Ave Beauty - not recommended) and Ruby's so far has been my best experience. My pedicure came out great, she didn't rush through it which is SO typical of other salons. My nails came out neat and look good. They don't have Monday-Wednesday specials like other places but at 25 bucks mani/pedi everyday I think that's a great deal. They also were not pushy or rude like other nail salons in the area. Overall for the price and compared to the other salons in the area I think Ruby Nails is a great place for a quick Midtown manicure.
