The cleaning crew does an excellent job, cleaning mornings and turning our bed sheets before bedtime. It is resplendent, the understated elegance shows throughout the hotel. The concierge is so helpful. The bathroom is modern, big and nice. We enjoyed a light lunch which was delicious and reasonably priced.
The hotel is at the best location. The King size bed and linens were plush, and the headboard was interesting. The bathroom is clean and modern. The location is perfect and the hotel personnel was always friendly.I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
The room was clean, the bed was good always made up in a timely manner and I appreciated the little extras like the complimentary water. The customer service is exceptional. The operatives is receptive and efficient The hotel is ravishing and the rooms are large and ravishingly appointed. One really nice feature is that they provide you complimentary water in your room every day!!!
I can only speak from our experience and found this hotel wonderful. Our room on the 17th floor and smelt lovely and clean. The room was cleaned everyday. Our bathroom was fine and we had a bath tub as well as a shower.Overall we were delighted and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Location is brilliant.
This was my third time staying at the Milford Plaza Hotel. Each stay has been met with the same consistency which is an transcendent point of this hotel. The hotel has a very comforting feel that begins with the check-in desk and lobby bar to the elevator to the rooms.
The room decor was lovely and we really enjoyed staying there. All was clean, spotless and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The complimentary water bottles in the mini-bar and the coffee machine in the lobby was wonderful gesture. The hotel work force was excellent! The location was perfect. We can warmly recommend this hotel.
A ravishing suite that functioned like a small apartment - a bedroom with two king-sized beds and a flat screen, four person dining room area, huge bathroom. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect.
The best quality of this hotel is it's location. It's just 1 or 2 blocks away from some shops and restaurants and cafes. The service was excellent and the hotel personnel were friendly. I had a comfortable stay. They also delivered a free newspaper each morning, which came in a bag that had Newspaper embroidered on it. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a hotel.
The concierge and check in desks in the lobby are warm and inviting .Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The hotel has a magnificent feeling to it. The rooms were nicely remodelled and very clean. Lots of little extras like comfortable robes and slippers. The restaurant in the hotel is fantastic. And the decor is very beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.
The most impressive part other than the heavenly bed was the friendliness of the hotel personnel. The front desk was welcoming and helpful. It truly deserves to be in the luxury collection. The service is outstanding........

This has been the worst experience with a hotel in New York City. It is overpriced, dirty, in need to renovations and the customer service if abysmal!! The room was dirty upon arrival, the locks did not work, security did not come for 45 minutes causing us to miss dinner, All this and no apologies - nothing. They put New York to shame! Do not waste your money! The web site is a sham!!

i've stayed here 3 times, i keep coming back after my first visit! i come to new york often and it's hard to find a nice hotel in a good location with a price that won't break the bank, and the park central new york is perfect. its location is phenomenal - right across from carnegie hall! & there are some great restaurants in the area as well. plus the consierge was wonderful - they helped get tickets to shows, had great advice, and were super friendly! if only the rest of the city was as nice!

Stayed at Park Central from 11-17 to 11-24. What a great location! Close to Central Park and Times Square. Also, the Macy's parade travels along Broadway which is just the next street over. We had a great location to watch the parade and it was close to our hotel so we didn't have to get up early and ""reserve"" a spot. Park Central was reasonably priced and the room was large for a NY hotel. We did not encounter any real problems. It's true that the elevators do run slow, but it's not that bad and there is a sign letting you know and apologizing. The only things I can think of that were minor issues were the shower ""shrieked"" for about 40 seconds when turned on before finally stopping so you could shower in peace, we would get a different variety of towels from day to day (sometimes no washclothes, sometimes no large towels but that was taken care of when housekeeping was called) and the drinks in the bar were pricey. Other than that we found our stay at Park Central pleasant and would stay there again.

I'd highly recommend it! We stayed there on our last trip to NYC and found it close to Times Square and Central Park. No problem getting a taxi here or even getting to the subway. The restaurant next door has excellent food and you get plenty of it!!! Service at the Wellington was great and when coming in at night there was someone there to make sure you belonged in there and they kept out the ones who didn't. Would we stay there again if the opportunity arose? You bet! The location is close to many stores and taxi's can get get you to where you want to be in no time. Make the Wellington your place to stay on your next trip there!!!!!

This was such a horrible hotel - the only good thing about it was the location. \r When we arrived they would not let us check in untill 4pm and then they only had smoking rooms available to my group even though we made reservations months in advance and NONE of us smoked. \r The rooms were dirty (black floor boards with dust and dirt) the walls were paper thin and you could practically hear peoples conversations on the street (If youve never been to New York, its a very noisy city and especially at night in this loaction- it was impossible to sleep!) My ironing board broke they wouldnt replace it - one of the other girls safe was not working they couldnt not help in that either. I was there for 3 noghts they never made our beds or sometimes would just not even replace the towels, and we knew they had been in the room because the trash was empty and toilet paper refolded! \r they had no trash can in the lobby (to discourage people from walking in off the street to throw away things, but I never saw a lack of trash bins on the street so I dont know why they felt the need to do this) they were very rude and kept asking when our bus was coming to get us after we checked out and were waitingin the lobby, and you need a card key to use the resroom in the lobby, we were screwed after we checked out and before we checked in (because they wouldnt let us check in untill 4) and they simply didnt care.

I stayed at this hotel in August 2006 with friends and found the rooms to be clean and with heating/AC that could easily be regulated. Elevators all seemed to be working fine and at normal speed for elevators anywhere!! It has a great location, being just minutes walk away from Times Square, although prices in this area obviously reflect that!

The location for the Park Central can't be beat. It is convienent to Times Square and shopping on Fifth Avenue, and a subway stops right at the corner. My room was large and featured a flat screen TV. However, the bathroom was vey dark and sort of small. For the most part the staff was helpful. The person in the gift shop had a pretty surly attitude and I didn't really like the restuarant or bar service. But realistically, for the price this hotel is quite good, and I would very much recommend it.

I stayed in this hotel last summer. I was booked into another hotel and wasn't pleased upon arrival and went hunting for other accommodations. This hotel had availability and took us righ taway. There was a bit of a wait in line, but we were happy to be in a safe area. The locations was fantastic, I was with a student of mine that had never been to NY, so she was very impressed with being able to walk pretty much everywhere. Overall, this hotel was very nice and would reccommed totohers.

I stayed in this hotel and was very pleased with both the service and the room. As a matter of fact I was booked at another hotel and upon arriving there found an extreme amount of construction in the extremely small lobby. I went looking for another hotel and the Wellington tokk us right away. For the price it is a very nice place to stay and being a travel agent, I would reccommend it to my clients.
