I?m always trying to find reasons to hang out in this neighborhood and have to admit I?m usually disappointed. Now I?ve found a cool place! The location is perfect- off the beaten path, but only slightly. I went on a Saturday night and it was a little crowded- definitely had to compete for the bartender's attention. When I was noticed, however, the service was very friendly. I will go back.Like this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
hate to shoot down the previous reviewer, but the B&T crowd does go there-I being proof..\r
It's a great place to go on a date, dark, quality beer list, great wine, couches in the back to get cozy. I don't think this place will ever get too popular, due to its out of the way location.. on the very quiet and otherwise boring block of perry street.

Otheroom was a great find - the beer selection rivals that of dba, a new york city must, only you'll find yours in a bottle here (most of the time). The crowd is small and unpretentious and if you just like to hang out, this place could be another new york standard.Like this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
I found this place recently. I went on a weeknight for a first date and it was a great choice. There were enough laid back people in the place, but not crowded. My date & I could talk easily over the music (which was very good). Staff was friendly and attentive, drink prices were reasonable. I am definitely going back!Like this review?Yes|Flag AbuseProvided by Citysearch
