We spent close to $400 for "VIP" seating on New Years' Eve and it was a waste of money!!! Got escorted to the "VIP" section which wasn't monitored at all for anybody with General Admission tickets could wander into the "VIP" section and sit wherever they wanted to. It wasnt a private or isolated section at all and we individually had to go to the restroom to make sure nobody took out seats!!! Club was overcrowded and drinks were too expensive. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I planned to do my birthday for sat March 13th with the promoters from Fullyequipped and they told me that I would be able to get a table with my bottle of grey goose for a certain price and then when i got there they totally brushed me off. They also lied about the entrance fee saying it was $10 for guys before 12 and they charged $20... they also treated me like crap and I couldn't believe this one girl who worked for the club because she told me I would get a certain table and then gave me a really bad attitude when it was time to seat people. She told me that I couldn't get that table because there was a group that was buying 6 bottles and that I wasnt buying anything compared to them..I was shocked and pissed but didnt let it ruin my night.. but overall the place is nice and its a good crowd and they play good music but the promoters are horrible ..I recommend this place for a night out of fun but not to do an event unless ur buying like 6 bottles otherwise theyll give ur table to other ppl.. and never do ur event with fullyequipped cuz theyre lierssss!!!!!!!!

First time ever at branch, nice crowd the place looks great. The staff might want to promote this place. Maybe the word would get around faster...........

This place is a joke. I came here from Rhode Island expecting class, good music, and fun. No such luck. Plastic cups, overpriced drinks, a 20% gratuity added to your tab if you start one- which i wouldn't mind if the bartender wasn't rude, incompetent and knew how to mix a drink. The crowd wasn't too old, mostly seemed like sad looking twenty something and bachelorett parties. As for the music, if you are 40+ and want to hear a pitifully mixed set of bon jovi, madonna,KELLY CLARKSON, queen, and a random hip hop song thrown in, go here. For real, I could've listened to a crappy set like this in Providence. In my neighbor's basement. The DJ actually said ""all you people coming up here giving me DJ tips, I got this."" No, you don't. He could not make a smooth mix to save his life. I danced for about twenty minutes total inthe 3 hours i spent there.\r \r Also, bottle service was outrageous, over 300$ for grey goose, cheapest was like 225 for BACARDI. If the club was actually swank and had a nice VIP this might've been acceptable... Maybe. I would never go here again.

Drinks served in plastic throw away cups.....What is this Jersey!!!!!!!!\r Do not go here...Waited on line long, people wearing whatever...And what place in new york serves crapy drinks in small plastic cups..The drinks were the worst I ever had I don't know were their bartender came from....Also this place is very small and the vip tables $500. min to get a table that seats about 5 people...I can't belive we spent 500. dollars on the worst drinks I ever had,,,,Music ok, but nothing to rave about....

I've been many times, both Friday and Saturday nights, and have had the best time ever! The staff is great, drinks reasonable and the music is awesome! A definite place to go.

I had a Bachelorette Party a few weeks back (Saturday night) & everyone had an awesome time. The bartenders were friendly, the crowd wasn't nasty or pervy in any way. The music was great (hip hop, reggae, reggaeton, old skool). The drinks are NYC priced, but that's what you expect. They do have drinks for 1/2 price before a certain time, so you should take advantage of that asap. Make sure you get on the guestlist otherwise you'll end up paying $10 or so to get in. All in all, a great time was had by all.

Me and my friends went here on Jan 27, a Saturday night, and we had SUCH a good time. The place itself is nice, but it's hard to really see the scenery since it was pretty packed that night. The music was on point, top 40's, hip hop, reggae. It's good for a small group of friends (no more than 10 or 15) to go for a good time, especially if you like to dance. The drinks were good, the crowd was good, the whole feel of the place was just perfect. It's small, yes, but cozy at the same time. i don't have anything bad to say about this place. What amazed me even more was encountering one of the nicest bouncers ever. It was my birthday, so my friends were helping me out, and he told me to sit down on the couch and offered to help us get our coats. Since when is a bouncer ever that nice? I went outside at one point of the night, looking for someone, and he asked me if I needed to make a phone call or something like that, then he opened the door for me when I went back in. Anyway, the bottom floor is the dancefloor, and the 2nd floor is a good place for people-watching on the dance floor or just hanging out at the bar.

My experience wasn't the best from the start, the bouncers and doormen were typically awful because even though I was on a list, they claimed that the lists expire at 11, and they had coupons on their website for free admission, and those also conveniently expired at 11 (though the coupon said it was good through midnight). The people in line ahead of me also had a bunch of problems with their list, so it seems that the planners don't have their act together. Once I got inside I wasn't overly impressed either. There are a dozen other clubs that have better music and more room to move around. The VIP tables are piled on top of each other, so even if you get one, you can fit maybe 6 people before you are spilling over onto the next one, and if they have a lot of people, they are spilling over into yours. \r \r So I'd skip this place and if you are looking for a night out at a club, check out the Meatpacking district and skip Branch.

I had my birthday party here last Saturday night and everyone- from the bouncers, to the manager Dewey, to the cocktail waitress was extremely accommodating with my table reservation and 20 guest. I had such a great time and though the place is small, it is extremely cozy, lots of fun, and the music was excellent. Highly recommended for a small party of 15-20 people, very easygoing and accommodating service. Will definitely be back.

Went to Branch several times for birthday parties & even a corporate party. Small, but still a very nice & cozy place. There is a dancefloor and the DJ is great. Drinks are great as well. Highly recommended for a more low-key type of party.

I've had good experiences at Branch before but I came here for my 23rd birthday and had a horrible experience. The bouncer was offensive, he wouldn't let people on my guest list in, he called me an idiot! Inside after going through this ridiculous door policy we found it to be devoid of people. Branch is not in meatpacking, nor does it have the reputation to have such a door policy when obvioulsy on Friday nights people aren't coming out.

I had contacted Branch via email in regards to setting up a guestlist for a b-day party. They had sent me all the information and instructions on how to set it up. Once I sent it over, they replied with a confirmation. I was a little skeptical about how likely my friends and I would get in for free from reading about prior branch partygoers, so I printed up the entire confirmation out with my guest list just in case. Anyways, all my friends go in for free and with such ease. The music was pumping and the drinks weren't too bad. I love the space and seating area. Definately a place I would recommend. The crowd changes from time to time, but the music is pretty good...except for the 15 minutes of rock they like to play.

Had my birthday party at Branch. Was so easy to reserve tables, staff was incredibly nice. Everyone had a great time, raved about Branch and the music played. I love to dance and almost all the songs were awesome, Top 40s & good dance music, no techno. Classy crowd. Got really crowded after midnight.

I went with a whole group and set up a guest list before so none of us had to pay cover! The DJ was awesome and the placed was packed. We stayed until closing - I would highly recommend it!

Great fun! Me & my girls got in for free just by RSVP'ing! The DJ rocked, the atmosphere was fun and sexy, and the service was great, not to mention they had 2 for 1 drinks! My girls and I will be back soon to shake it on up their kool dance floor!

We celebrated a bachelorette party this past weekend, had an awesome time, danced all night, had well made drinks... rocked it out. Branch brought it's A-Game and showed us that some clubs still have it.

Nice decor-awful clientele. Looks like this place has seen it's heyday in NYC. Might as well be located in Staten Island or the Bronx. Don't waste your time.

Went to Branch for my friend's birthday last night (03/11/06), total of about 50 people. 6 of us got there right before they open. All the staff were very professional and helpful. 2 for 1 drinks between 10 and 11, and then again around 2:30 am. Great atmosphere, DJ played good music. We reserved a few tables, and ordered several bottles of champagne, vodka, scotch.....needless to say they treated us real well.

I went to Branch this weekend for my friend's birthday. Overall we had a good experience. From 10-11 it was buy one get one or half off drinks. We got there at 1045 and had no problem getting rounds for everyone. The drinks weren't too badly priced at $8 either. Many clubs it's $9-10, but they used gross well vodka...so...The place really filled up by 12. Before 12 the music sucked. After, the DJ started playing the hits. Everything from Hip Hop, Rap, 80's, and current dance. (Don't mistake Dance with club hits, this is not Crobar, a couple of my friends were disappointed.) It was set up nicely and the crowd was pretty decent. Mainly 20's and a few early 30's. Not super trendy. It's worth checking out, especially if you can get a promo to get in for free, which we did.
