Paul Kenney has assisted my wife and me in the purchase of two properties. Our first purchase was a duplex rental property that Mr. Kenney acted in an advisor capacity reviewing the contracts and providing advice throughout the process. His guidance ensured a successful and expedited completion of our transaction.
Mr Kenney’s exceptional level of professional and readiness made our choice to utilize his services for our second purchase a simple decision. Our second transaction was the complicated purchase of a New York City Co-Op. This type of purchase can be complex and we experienced some unexpected hurdles. A major and unsettling discrepancy arose between two third parties that neither us as buyers nor the seller could control. Mr Kenney exhibited his exceptional craft as an attorney and mediated the two parties into agreement so our transaction could move forward. His professionalism and understanding of the process allowed our transaction to proceed and ultimately be completed. Mr. Kenney comes highly recommended.
I retained Mr. Kenney in 2015 and again in 2016 for a Landlord/Tenant dispute. Since day 1, he was quick to respond to my emails, easy to reach by phone and was extremely knowledgeable in this field. He was able to resolve the disputes I had in my favor. He works hard for his clients to get them the outcomes they deserve. Mr. Kenney is also very upfront with you about your situation and tells you all the possible outcomes. I have worked with other attorneys in the past, and regret not hiring Mr. Kenney for my previous legal needs. Mr. Kenney isn't just an attorney; he's an experienced attorney who has a passion for what he does. He is also great in Real Estate Transactions and also Wills and Estates. We're currently working with him again, and will be for years to come.
I am 71 years old, world traveled, and steeped in Life experience. In all modesty, the so-called and proverbial "Everyman". And in that voice(morevover from personal experience with Counselor Kenney) I say that retaining Mr Kenney, having that man on board, for ANY legal matter is the penultimate best opportunity bar none that one can have in being able to prevail. A brilliant, tough, hard working, practical, personable, compassionate, responsive champion. One would be most fortunate having his representation.
Paul R. Keeney executed a lease rider for my apartment rental in a Manhattan condominium. I was tremendously satisfied with all of the clauses he has incorporated in my lease rider. He covered very important issues that protected me as a landlord in a timely manner. I found out about him through Yelp. I've submitted a list of things that I would need in my lease rider and suggested he adds anything that I may be missing. He emailed me his fees which was very reasonable. He reviewed my condo lease and added any missing clause that may be relevant to the lease rider. He completed the lease rider in one day. He was efficient, responsive to all of my emails and phone calls, and very decent and professional. I did not have to make any changes to my lease rider.
My experience was nerve racking - I was evicted from my apartment after failing to honor a previous stipulation by housing court and was given a little over 3 weeks to come up the amount due. I would not have been given that opportunity had it not been for Paul R. Kenney. The landlord had already evicted me and had no reason to negotiate . In the end I got my apartment back and owe Paul R. Kenney all the thanks. He is good at what he does.
In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy some unscrupulous contractors put a mechanics lien on my mother's house. The matter went to arbitration and I hired Paul to represent us. Paul gathered information and walked us through the process. He was easy to talk to and very well-prepared. The arbiter decided completely in our favor, in large part I think because of Paul's research and professionalism. Highly recommend.
I went to Paul upon a friend's recommendation. I was in serious trouble regarding eviction and some terrible miscommunications. Paul was immediately responsive and took the situation in to his hands. He was knowledgeable, professional and available whenever I had questions, not to mention a great sense of humor. I hope to never be in a housing situation again, but if I am, I know who to call!
Fantastic! This past summer, I was looking around for a good estate lawyer to create a trust for my family. I called Paul's office, and not only was he super responsive, but he offered me sound direction on how to proceed. Paul was very generous with his time and expertise, and helped me communicate my vision for the trust accurately. His work is timely and concise, and I will definitely hire him in the future.
Paul represented us in 2014 when we sold our coop. He was professional, responsive, organized and priced fairly, so we hired him again this year to represent us in purchasing a house. The sellers had significant liens on the house, and their attorney was not able to do his job. So the deal was complicated and it took forever to close. But Paul kept things light with his signature sarcasm and actually helped the sellers when their attorney was incapable of getting the job done.
If you want the best attorney in NYC, call Paul Kenney. He worked on a Breach of Contract case for me in NYC and came through on every promise, including winning the case. The amazing part is, I live in Austin, Texas and Paul handled the case from start to finish without ever meeting me. Yet he hung in there through every twist and turn and won every judgement he went after. That kind of representation is rare. Great attorney and all around good guy. Couldn't be happier.
