I trust Dr. Kling considering I was just walking by his office while vacationing. I feel comfortable with him. He takes safe approaches, is thorough, knowledgeable, and has made efforts to go above and beyond to truly be a quality doctor and to ensure his patients are well cared for and happy. I've recommended him to friends who live in New York and nearby and even my friends in Florida who come to visit NYC, and will continue to do so. I'm very grateful to have found such an overall great doctor.

I just moved to NY 6 months ago and live in New Jersey. I needed to see a dermatologist and I was referred to Dr. Kling by a very good friend of mine who lives New York and is a patient of Dr. Klings. Making an appointment in Dr. Klings office was a breeze, very friendly and professional staff. On the day of my appointment I was already impressed by his office. Clean, well kept, and like I mentioned friendly, efficient and professional staff. The wait was not bad at all considering I am a new patient. I met with Dr. Kling and I felt welcome, at ease, very comfortasble with him. He took the time to listen to my concerns and listened and addressed all my questions. His treatment for the condition I came in for was very successful. I am very pleased with dr. Klings professionalism, ethics, knowledge and care. I would definitely recommend Dr. Kling everyone I know.

Dr. Kling was very warm and friendly throughout the visit, not rushed and impatient. He took into account my history before diagnosing me and explained the medical terms in a way that was very easy to understand. He also listened to my questions and asked if I had concerns. He ended the visit very politely. I am definitely going back to see him. I am glad I found an awesome physician!

My experience with Dr. Kling has always been satisfactory. He is caring, patient and extremely knowledgeable. I was seeing another dermatologist before and I was not satisfied. It took a long time for my skin condition to improve. With Dr. Klings expertise, experience and knowledge, my skin condition is under control and easier to manage. I have recommended Dr. Kling to many of my friends and family. They too are very satisfied.

I have been going to Dr. Kling for years, very few and in between. Now that I am hitting the mid-40's I have developed adult acne-- they simply disappear once he started txmt. He is fantastic, professional and so knowledgeable. A masters touch....

I am the third person I know who is using Dr Kling and each one sings his praises. That is not an off the cuff statement... it represents patients who have been in his care for more than 10 years. To me a relationship with a physician is EVERYTHING and I've been able to always have the time to tell him at my own speed what is really going on. As a result I feel my treatment is Superb!

I came from out of town into the city for my monthly Business meetings, and have honestly been pleasantly surprised with how well things have worked out with Dr Kling. I'd been suffering from Psoriasis for the past 8 years and take my word... it's not any fun... On top of that I've only had marginal success to this point.. Things changed within the first weeks of Dr Klings Treatment... At first I thought that it was in my mind... But then as I continually cleared it became UNDENIABLE.... After having been to two other doctors with next to no results Dr Kling was the one who actually ""Thought About It"" and came up with a treatment plan that was suited for me. Happy is an understatement. I can show my skin in public and it's normal... After years of long sleeves even on weekends, finally I've got a real piece of my life back. Can you imagine how that feels??

I was on vacation in NYC and all of a sudden I get these skin rash. I bought an itching cream form duane reade but it did not go away. I happened to pass by Dr. Kling's office and I walked in. His office does not normally take walk ins but I explained I was just visiting. Dr. Kling gave me a prescription for it and it went away and started to get better relatively quick. I am glad I walked passed his office or I would have to wait till I return home. Thanks Dr. Kling! I will keep in mind what you discussed during my consultation.

I went to see Dr. Kling 2 weeks ago for a skin condition that has been bothering me for so long now. I have been to several dermatologists and nobody has been able to help me. Dr. Kling prescribed me a medicine and explained how to use it properly and I see a considerable change in my skin. Thank you Dr. Kling!

I first saw Dr. Kling when I was a student when I was referred by a nurse who spoke of him highly. Dr. Kling has always been kind and compassionate. Shortly after I first saw Dr. Kling I referred my mother, father and brother to him and they all liked him a lot. I have since referred my wife and she is pleased. I dont understand the comments below about Dr. Kling being very impatient with kids. My kids are also patients of Dr. Kling and they absolutely adore him!!!

I cant stress enough how happy I am with Dr. Kling. I think he is a terrific doctor. He has helped me out through the years with everything from adult acne to these growths that I was getting on my face or body that needed to be removed. I also enjoyed talking to him. We would talk about everything from politics to how devastated things were getting at my law firm during the recession. It was good to have somebody to talk to about these things.

Dr. Kling is the greatest! I started going to his NYC and later Brooklyn office years ago. My condition got much better and later my kids and my husband also started going. Dr. Kling got to know my family pretty well and always asked about them. When I lost my job and my health insurance he continued to see us anyway without charge. He told us that he’d known us for years and he would continue to take care of everybody. He would also get us samples of medications and leave them at the front desk when they came in.

I was referred to Dr. Kling by a make up artist who swears by him because of what he has done for her clients. She goes to see him herself and she looks pretty good so I figured she would know because she’s in the business. My complexion was completely out of control and now it looks great. I also got these chemical peels which make me look great.

Do Not Take Young Kids to this doctor!!!

I took my 3 year old son to this doctor today to take care of some itchy pimples that showed up on his torso. He stormed in with his ""physician assistant"" (who was actually nice) and did not even try to socialize with my son to get him to feel comfortably. My son was scared instantly with his ""cold"" attitude. I asked him if we can shut the window a/c since it was hitting my son right on the back before I take his shirt off and he was in such a rush to get rid of us that he hesitantly obliged. My son started to cry and as soon as dr. Kling saw that, he flipped his gloves off his hands and gave up instantly. I asked him if this was contagious since I have a infant at home and he said highly. So I ask, what are we going to do about it. He said "" Well he is not going to let me look at it so I will see him in two weeks"". What??????? I said lets try again and I will pick up his shirt even if he cries, he would not do it. The whole visit was about 2 minutes. I asked him to explain what this was and he had the PA write the name on paper so I can look it up online. This guy is just lowsy with kids. He should not accept pediatric patients if he cannot handle a kid crying. When I left the office, I was so upset that I called back and spoke to the receptionist who said she knows how he is and sorry. He should not be a doctor no matter how good he thinks he is. Part of medicine is having bedside manners. I don't expect to sit down and have coffee with the guy during my visit but give me the time that a patient deserves to get answers and treatment they need. My wife was so upset because she had a local dermatologist that everyone talks about but I insisted that Dr. Kling was great and we waited two weeks to get an appointment. What a letdown!!

The Worst

Wish I had read these reviews before I saw this tool. My GP recommended him. Why? No idea. Similar experience to the rest on this board. He talks AT you. And when I tried to ask a question, he used a euphemism for ""shut up"" to me so he could prattle off the same info he had given me 30 seconds earlier. (He repeated this wrote monologue a total of three times, rapid- fire, but would brook no inquiries from his patient). Also had him giving me shots without telling me he was going to or even what he was injecting me with. Then he ran out. Where's the fire, Alan?I've never written an on-line review of anything, but Kling is an inspiration. The kicker is, judging by his interaction with me, he doesn't give a damn what his patients think or feel anyway. Stay away.

First time I went to this doctor's office, I was seen by someone in a white doctor's coat who put a drop of acid on a wart and told me to come back to retreat the problem in two weeks. Came back and she refused to do what she said she would do before. She argued. I left the office wasting my time with no treatment. I called Dr. Kling who admitted that she had been rude and argumentative with many patients and told me she WASN'T A DOCTOR. I was calling her doctor and she never told me she was an assistant. I then had another visit and the doctor is terribly rushed and doesn't listen. I scheduled another appointment and the doctor left early and when I showed, the staff said that he left. When I came back the next week, Kling argued with me sarcastically saying that he was sorry that he couldn't control that there was a storm that he had to leave early. He then didn't treat all the things I came for and said that he's the doctor, he does ""triage"" and he decides what are the most important things to treat. I read the prior reviews and really couldn't believe someone would be this bad. He's worse. He is so fast, he doesn't see skin conditions which is a critical part of a skin doctor. He is rude and argumentative. This was just about the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor in my life.

Awful Dr.

I found this Dr through a referral from my old Los Angeles derm. If this guys didn't take my insurance I'd NEVER go to him. I have waited over an hour every single time and all I get are hair treatments that take 3 minutes. His bedside manner is strange, to say the least and the office staff is incredibly lazy. They insist on paying upfront, probably because many people leave after the outrageously inconsiderate wait time. He's also a very strange person and I feel very uncomfortable in that office.

The worst experience I've ever had with a physician

I saw Dr. Kling several years ago for treatment for my mild acne issues. Not only was the staff generally unpleasant, but the doctor himself was absurd. I waited for over an hour, and then saw him for literally 5 minutes. As soon as he walked into the office, he began injecting my skin without telling me what he was doing, what it was or why- I actually had to say ""what are you doing??"". He then proceeded to talk over me for 5 minutes, give me a prescription for an antibiotic, after I told him that I only wanted topical treatment NOT antibiotics, and then he left. Literally the worst doctor, ever.
