Rude bartenders

Reserved a party here thurs night in the living room area. Great space and affordable drinks; however the experience was ruined by the nasty female bartenders serving the upstairs area. They were unwelcoming, unaccommodating, and actually forced us to leave the upstairs area at 10pm on a busy thursday night. I have never been treated so badly by supposedly ""down to earth and friendly"" staff. If you must come here... view more

Best Dive Booze Bar in FiDi

First, I am not a bot, but I work down in the Financial District and this place is my new jam for no-frills drinking and hanging out with friends. Went there last Friday (4/25) after work and enjoyed a few (lot) very affordable beers sitting @ the bar. In hindsight I really shouldn't be saying this, but whatever, whats a few more friends.

I came here last Friday night with my wife after I took my wife for dinner for her birthday. We noticed this bar and we decided to check it out. Unlike Ulysses this place was perfect for relaxing in and not squashed like sardines as in Ulysses....The most memorable thing was the efficiency of the bartender,Johnny, who is from Dublin,Ireland. He literally went out his way ,when i mentioned my wifes birthday, and made her ... view more

Best pub in the city

This is the best bar in the Wall st. area by far. I have been frequenting this place for well over a year and everything about this place is just what you need after work, or lunch for that matter. The pints are always flowing and the bartenders are always up for a good conversation.\r \r During lunch, the wall opens up as a long hot bar full of beef wellington, chicken diablo, all sorts of roasted meats and side... view more

Great bartenders, great music, great drinks

You know that guy who can talk to everyone about anything, no matter how strange or unique their interests? Killarney Rose is that guy. Uptowner looking for a change of pace? Tourist trying to figure out where to go next? Look no further. The bartenders (and patrons) will be able to help. Stop in for a pint or some shots and you won't be disappointed. Don't look down your nose at the food, however; it's top no... view more

What happened...change is not always good..not the nightly atmosphere it use to have

Wow how quickly places can go down hill..What happen to the great bartenders that created the atmosphere in the place..The food is still good, but there are so many good food place in the area now. It's really is missing the personalities...I loved to venture after work have a beer a little food and have the chats but it's seems like it's not just the bartender who are missing so are the crowds.
