\r I've visited spas all over the world and jin spa is one of THE BEST! When I first stepped into the spa the wonderful fragrance instantly filled my senses and I was immediately overcome with relaxation. The receptionists were exceptionally informative and showed me to the lockers. The lounge area is so relaxing, it felt heavenly. The masseuse's techniques were undeniable. Overall BESTTT MASSAGE EVER! After my massage, I sat in the lounge and enjoyed some soft beverages and fruits, and a complimentary lunch!

I had an amazing experience here. This is one of the cleanest and most peaceful nail salons in the city. It is located in the West Village, and the menu has a variety of services such as the milk and honey pedicure which is fabulous and leaves your feet feeling oh so soft and silky. They use excellent nailposhes here from companies such as Nars, Givenchy, and Hard Candy. The owner is supersweet and the atmosphere is so zen like. You should definitely go here if you want to relax whhile you glam up your hands and feet.

$18.85 for a manicure? i've been getting manicures twice a month for years, and by far my experience here was THE WORST ever! the staff training seems to be spotty. my manicurist had ZERO clue about what she's doing, and i ended up doing part of the manicure myself. the hand massage i got was the biggest joke ever. she patted my hand a few times and then put on a hot washcloth on each hand and i was done. i'm not sure what the hype is, but save yourself the $ and do the manicure yourself. i'm sure you'll do a better job that the crap job i got. almost $20 for a manicure. what a racket!

Okay, I was alittle skeptical about going inside because from the street view the property itself doesn't look promising. But, once the staff greeted us, sat us down, and served us free incredibly good tasing teas, I was ready for the pampering. Not only were the beauticians slow, and precise, but they worked as though they cared. Also, the manicure was near flawless. I chose the Milk & Honey pedicure. I can't wait to go back! Wonderful little gem worth the 55 bucks I shelled out for the pampering.

I got the milk and honey pedicure, and it was seriously the most thorough, precise job I have ever had. I agree that the polish chipped after a week and a half, but that was easy enough to tough up since I owned the color. However, I can put nail polish on my own toes pretty easily, but the scrubbing, cuticle care, sloughing, etc at jin soon took a loooong time, was incredibly thorough, and the results of that have lasted three weeks. I would definitely recommend this place.

I have been going here for years and Jin Soon NEVER disappoints. I love being able to book an appointment with my best friend (where there is just the two of us getting our pedicures and manicures at the same time) and sip tea while being beautified. I love being able to choose from various high end nail polishes like NARS and Givenchy. The prices, albeit higher than your run of the mill spot, are well worth it. This place is great and it's the only place I get pedicures, period.

I work very near by to this tiny salon and i visit it often. I love that it is small and intimate, i LOVE the tea! It is very relaxing, the staff is nice and attentive. But I have to say it is a bit too expensive, and for some reason every time I get a pedicure it always looses its' luster after a day or two. I personally just enjoy the experience, it is very zen-like. Sitting there, just reading gossip mags, sipping on yummy tea and get your feet massaged...what else can you ask for?

i've been a loyal devotee for a few years but in the last year, it's gone downhill. my mani/pedi felt rushed - they were doign both at the same time and i didn't appreciate that. my pedicure doesn't look nice and shiny, it looks/feels too thin. for my manicure, she barely did any work on my cuticles and a day afterwards, i can see tons of hangnails and dry skin. a $10 place by me does a better job, but i thought of treating myself. while it is very nice and relaxing, i have to say, i'm disappointed with the sub-par quality.

Having tried many nail salons in Manhattan, I can safely say that Jin Soon is the very best. Everyone there is very meticulous when it comes to clipping, shaping, and polishing and the products that they use are superb, from Ahava lotion to Nars polish.

It doesn't get better than Jin Soon's! Not only is the atmosphere relaxing and intimate, but the staff could not be sweeter. You're nails will never look healthier, and your pedicure will last forever. I have recently moved from New York to Atlanta and there is nothing I miss more about New York than Jin Soon's.

I just got home from Jin Soon, where I had the best pedicure of my life--the Summer Oasis (with a foot bath of cucumbers and mint leaves). I was able to get a same-day appointment when I called, and the staff was super friendly and professional. It may be pricier than your usual walk-in nail joint, but it was definitely worth it. Atmosphere, service, and quality of products can't be beat. Go!

I was a little nervous going to Jin Soon, since many things in NYC can be overrated. I was pleasantly surprised! The staff is warm and welcoming as well as accomodating. I felt like I was relaxing in someone's home while being treated to a pedicure and manicure. I got the chance to meet Jin Soon, and she's definitely a woman committed to quality (she was calling her other location, making sure everything was going well). Once I get enough money, I'll be back!

The staff was friendly and non-pretentious. The cost was a bit steep, but it was a one time-thing for a special occasion and therefore worth it. My pedicure wasn't rushed at all. I got the Breath of Milk & Honey pedicure for about $55 (i think?) and it was great for my tired, dry feet. I felt like I was walking on cushions the rest of the day. And the manicure was nice, too. I accidentally smudged it and she fixed it - no complaints or anything. I'd definitely go again.

great pedicures and great service. i happen to love smaller, less complicated places with better service. if you appreciate the same, you will love this place. the pedicure is a 10!

A nice pedicure, but it was rushed and way too crowded. also, there are no whirlpool footbaths- a definite plus for pedicures! The mango tea was excellent though...

i loved the fact that the milk and honey pedicure bath was so warm and invigorating... it was so relaxing... i loved the fact that they gave my friend and i green tea to drink during our pedicures.. i would highly recommend this place for the pedicure, the ambiance, the service..

They don't do a better job than any other pedicure place, but they don't do a worse job either. Not more relaxing than any other place. It's small and feels very cloustrophobic. Granted, it's fun to have cucumbers on your feet, but it's not worth $70!!!

Just as everyone will tell you, the honey milk and almond pedicure is the best in the city. It's quick, but relaxing, and your feet will feel so soft. The space is small, but they don't overbook, so it seems more intimate than cramped. Another plus, Jin Soon uses fabulous products. The polishes are Nars and Chanel, and the creams are Keihls (amoung others). I'll go back for sure. p.s. You must try the citrus tea!

This is the place to go for a little pampering. An intimate and beautifully decorated setting, a well trained staff and top-notch services make this salon hard to beat. I've been here a few times and afterwards, my feet have never felt better and my nails look wonderful. Jin Soon herself is also a hands-on owner who is friendly and wants to make sure you leave happy. The Milk & Honey pedicure is pricey ($50) but well worth it.

Jin Soon was by far the best pedicure I have ever had and I have had many. The small salon was relaxing and very personal. There are different types of pedicures to choose from and they are all much cheaper than a lot of salons. I would reccomend Jin Soon to anyone for their care and quality.
