I have been using Jeanne for over 10 years. I may not take my most precious beaded silk evening blouse there, but I have had alterations, fur storage, laundry, men's and women's clothes done there. I think they are particularly good at men's shirts. Laundry was clean and neatly folded, but no special requests were taken. They have never lost anything. Make sure you point out spots and bring attention to any garments that might be retaining odor. They put that tape on it and it comes back clean. Alterations are fair. I would stick to basics like hems/zippers/buttons since the tailors struggle with English. There is a new lady in alterations there and I have not tried her yet, so there could be improvement. They have a small private room to change clothes in. The service people are very friendly and know me by first name which I appreciate. You should feel perfectly safe taking your suits/sweaters/rayon items there.
