Farmers Insurance - Jerry Christal

So I was forwarded jerry Chrystal’s information from my sales rep at Lexus. It was the first time I would request insurance and I have a very new license so my rates were insane. He suggested an insurance company with the guarantee that they would be substantially lower than every other insurer, and they were. He used my sister’s proof of prior insurance to lower my quote. After three weeks of being insured the insurance company contacted me and said my sister’s proof of prior insurance was not enough. The proof of prior insurance had to be from me (this isn’t what he said). So I took a drive down to his office. He got on the phone with the insurance company and accomplished nothing. My rate went up $280, which left me exactly where I was prior to contacting him. So not only did I pay the same amount I would have paid by myself but I also played his broker fee for doing absolutely nothing but wasting my time.

Along with wasting my time I was sent to collections for the $280 difference which was his fault. I have tier 1 credit so this was the biggest inconvenience of all. Regardless of the fact I changed to another insurance company and used him to do so. After the six months were up I contacted him again to get me a lower rate. I don’t know why I continued working with him after his careless mistakes. He tried charging me another $200 broker fee so I thought NOT. I did research and cancelled the insurance with that company. Jerry then sent me to collections because I didn’t cancel with him. THAT’S TWICE! I would NEVER recommend him to anyone unless I wanted them to spend an excessive amount of money and have their credit ruined.
