General Info:
Dylan Prime is located in a historic landmark building on the corner of Laight St. and Greenwich St. Inspired by our origins as the Dietz Lantern Building; we recently underwent a renovation, reclaiming many original elements of the space to pay tribute to our deep roots in the Tribeca neighborhood. Our bar tops, tables, columns and shelving are constructed primarily from 200-year-old beams that were salvaged from a nearby condo renovation. Our back bar, walls and under bar are adorned with 100-year-old iron shutters that also came from a neighborhood project. Herringbone floors, trims, accents and artwork are all source from reclaimed material. Edison lighting adds warmth to a space that propels you back in time to Old New York. Great Food and Ambiance but Ending Somewhat Disappointing

I was at Dylan Prime attending a birthday party with over a dozen other guests. The food and drinks were all amazing - every single person at our table loved the appetizers and entrées, as well as deserts. Steaks were done to perfection and all appetizers were delicious. The prices are pretty good for the quality of food served there. Service staff was attentive and extremely helpful. - Essentially, everything was g... view more

Had my birthday dinner here...4 people, service was great and it was a full house. All 4 of us loved our meal. Two of us had the filet mignon with different sauces...we both loved them. Another had a fish and the other had a different steak(can't remember which kind) Seriously, we raved the whole time. Drinks were delish as well. The sides were shared and each better than the next. Try the fried artichokes and also ... view more

not bad at all

the food, esp beef wellington, was quite good (a bit too saucy if I'm being honest, but still good). Also the filet mignon stuffed with oysters, my husband loved it. Service was prompt and friendly. Unusual music playing and atmosphere different from most steakhouses (playing anything from ACDC to that song ""groove is in the heart"", strange, but the volume was just right). I'd probably recommend it if someone wa... view more

One of the best NYC steak restaurants

My husband took me here the night he proposed to me. The restaurant didn't know this, but we were still strategically seated in a romantic little corner. The service was perfect, the wine was fabulous, and the food amazing. Definitely a great date spot: quiet, attentive but not-invasive waitstaff, and of course, great steak.

I was provided dinner here when I won a trip to New York. I was amazingly impressed. The food right down to the drinking water was excellent. I don't normally eat in these types of places, because of the expense but I would encourage anyone that can afford the place to try it.

great place to bring a nice lady on a date if its a special occasion birthday, anniversary etc.. a little pricey so i wouldn't go regularly but i wish i could. The lobster mac and cheese was great. The only thing i thought couldve been better was the pork belly tater tots.

Dylan's disappoints

We were seated in a booth too small for adults but that was not the problem. The booth next to us had rowdy drunk males so I asked to be moved. Then minutes later a table of 10 men in their 40's and 50's (extremely loud jerks) were seated who proceeded to throw things at each other, this coupled with loud music made it difficult to hear the specials that the linguisticly handicapped waiter tried to describe to us. Steak cooked to perfection, service with a smile...

My girlfriend and I had the best meal we've had in a long time (in NYC) at Dylan Prime. Both the filet and the NY Strip were fantasic and cooked exactly how we like them. All the sides were delicious as well. I also had 2 nice ice cold dirty martini's expertly made.\r
The service was attentive but did not micromanage our time there. They were very friendly and a group of waitstaff even gave us an unsolicted com
