I WOULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!!!
They lied and deceived me. Sleazy doesn't even begin to describe my experience. Save yourself the trouble.
This is the first time I’ve ever written a negative review about a company but this was the most deceitful thing I've experienced as a consumer. Of the "four C's", an independent gemologist only agreed with the carat weight. Also, watch out for the fine print that says "clarity enhanced".
These people cannot be trusted. All I wanted was my money back because I was blatantly misled and lied to. They refused and I had to fight the charge with my credit card company. I met with the manager/owner and he wanted to charge me $5K to take the ring back after only 48 hours. An honest business wouldn't do that because they would want their customers to be happy.
I would give more than 5 stars if I could! I had a great experience finding a diamond with Daniela Diamonds, and would highly recommend this place to all my family and friends. When I started the process of looking for a diamond for my fiance's engagement ring, I spoke to several people who were referred by friends and they showed me lots of diamonds, explained the difference between EGL and GIA diamonds, went into great detail about differences in quality when comparing the 4 C's. So I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for, and not only did they give me what I was looking for but absolutely exceeded my expectations. I was shocked that I could find such good value on a quality diamond - in fact this beat anything I could find on Blue Nile. It was GIA certified, and completely legit. I put down a deposit and later brought in a sample GIA cert to compare it, just to make sure everything checked out. I'm a very cautious person, and this being the biggest purchase of my life I was even more so. And I was extra cautious because I just randomly walked in off the street after meeting with a friend's jeweler in the wholesale offices above the Diamond District. I asked them to measure and weigh the diamond in front of me to make sure it matched the cert. Anything I asked, they gave me a straightforward answer, and after I made the purchase and went home to have another look at the diamond (the lighting in every jewelry store can be a little misleading) well, it was even more beautiful in natural light. Honestly, I could not be happier with my experience there.
I dealt with Brian mostly and also another guy I think named Shlomi, both extremely helpful and friendly.

My husband bought me a wedding band from daniela diamonds for our anniversary, I however didnt like it at all (and didnt have the receipt). I called the store and they reacted so positivly, and without any problem they told me to go down to their store and pick any ring i liked in exchange!! Thats exactly what I did, i was amazed by their PATIENCE and eagerness to help me out. They have quality diamonds aswell. I really felt that i was in good hands. Finally after some tough debating:)) I chose my dream ring!!!! Thankss baruch and everyone at daniela diamonds, may you continue your beautiful work and have much success and blessings!!! E. Cohen:)

""DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I went to the diamond district to purchase an engagement ring. I selected a diamond at Daniela and they told me it will be 20 minutes to put in the setting. No refunds, exchange only. Not at my best, I left the store to get coffee, 20 minutes later came back and they said ok , come down the block for the jeweler to set the diamond, Given my excitement at the moment, I just followed the salesperson to the location to set the diamond, and didn't think much of it. I brought the diamond home and discovered that it was ""Clarity Enhanced/Fracture Filled"". This significantly reduces the value of the diamond, like by half! I inspected the certificate and found that the certificate was switched. The diamond size, color and clarity was the same but it was clarity enhanced. The certificate I saw in the store was not the same as I was given after my coffee break. Of course after more careful inspection the receipt reads ""Clarity Enhanced"", to protect themselves, in my excitement I glazed over that, at the time. Do not buy from Daniela Diamonds in the NYC diamond district. They will rip you off big time if they can. One more note, they provide a nice looking certificate, same colors as GIA and called Gemlogic. It must be his brother or cousin from around the corner. It is bogus. I appraised the diamond professionally afterwards and the color and clarity were off by 2 or more levels. Legally a certificate is allowed to have play, one level in either direction. I called the store and asked nicely, even thought my receipt reads exchange only, if he would provide a refund since the certificate is not within legal limits of allowable error. Of course he said come in I will exchange it for you. No thanks.... DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THE STORE, THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF IF THEY CAN. And just some advice: Always get GIA, AGS or EGL certification, do not accept any other name Never let the stone leave your sight (my biggest mistake) Lookout for CLARITY ENHANCED""
