My complaint is two-tiered as it concerns both the guarantee clause delineated in The Basics section of the FAQ page and customer service as a whole. On March 15, 2015, I competed in one of their listed contests. Later that day, my entry was rated the highest among the entrant pool. After the contest was extended, my entry was selected as a finalist from the Qualifying Round, and thereafter selected to the Winner Round along with one other that had (and still has) a lower rating to that of my own. Although payment for the contest was guaranteed on March 31, 2015, it is unclear when (and if) I will get paid. I have tried contacting customer service via phone, email, and discussion forum on several occasions, but to date have heard nothing. Ironically enough, their voice message changed a few weeks ago after I tried contacting them over the phone. They make it explicitly clear that no inquiries will be fielded through this channel. What is ironic was that I never left a message on any of the previous occasions. I have tried contacting the site administrators, the support services, and the administrator for their forum affiliate; all to no avail. Aside from the abysmal customer service, there is again the question of fail-safes (or lack thereof) wherein it concerns the guarantee clause. That is, what is to prevent a contest holder from extending his or her contest indefinitely? Although, this concern was raised in the past, today, the problem still persists. What results are myriad questions, sparse answers, and ostensibly ill-equipped site administrators. Very innovative. I paid $149 for a tagline contest, and got more than 30 great options to choose from. I also launched a Sales Letter contest and got similar results - the contest platform is intuitive and easy to navigate, and the work speaks for itself.
