Chiropractic and Acupuncture- Dr. Steven Schram

A short 24hrs after first seeing Dr. Schram my nagging neck pain melted away. This pain would make it almost impossible for me to sleep and in just minutes in his office he zeroed in on the spot. I've been paying for monthly massages that I do not need anymore! In addition to that, Dr. Schram helped relieve the pain in my tight calf muscles, again in one short visit. He's also been helping to treat a rare and weird pain behind my ears that 12 other doctors have been clueless about. He is friendly, knowledgable and I can always get an appointment. I have already recommended him to tons of my friends.

I visited Dr.Schram after almost 6 months of continuous intense back pain. I did get X-rays and physical therapy, acupuncture and the whole shabang... nothing helped until I started with his treatment. I can bend to brush my teeth, tie my shoes, sit down and stay seated and sleep!!!! I am really grateful and fully recommend his services. He has also been incredibly kind and direct with his treatment.

I've visited Dr. Schram on two occasions and received excellent treatment each time. Had fallen asleep in awkward positions and awoke with sharp back pain. Dr. Schram zeroed in on the source of the pain and I left the office 95% pain free (the remainder resolved itself over the ensuing 24-48 hours). Thankfully, there was no attempt to milk multiple visits out of the problems. Rather, the focus was on efficient treatment. Highly, highly recommended.

I had been living with chronic pain in my elbow and wrist. I had doctors suggest I stop working out or consider surgery. I was recommended to Dr. Schram by a friend and after my first visit I baked her a cake. I felt amazingly better after seeing him just once and by the 3rd visit I had no continued pain. I saw him again for agonize pain when I hurt my back, and again he worked like magic.

Dr. Schram is the best chiropractor that I have ever visited, and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a chiropractor in New York City. Dr. Schram has helped me with lower back pain from too much racquetball and long hours at the computer. He was also very helpful when I had a pinched nerve in my neck and upper back. The pain was the worst I have ever experienced and he knew exactly what to do and how to adjust my neck to get me working again as quickly as possible. He is compassionate and truthful in his approach with patients. The office staff is also friendly and efficient. Always a great visit. I can't imagine being in NYC without a chiropractor like Dr. Schram. Thank you Dr. Schram for 15+ years of great care.

Summer 2010 is the 1st time I ever tried acupuncture and it changed my life. First, I went to Dr. Schram to help me walk without pain that was offset by neuroma's. After just a few treatments, I went from walking in tears, taking pain meds 2x a day to walking with no pain, weaned off medicine entirely. It's important to know that I was being treated by a podiatrist prior to my visit to Dr. Schram. I was treated with weekly injections that did not help the healing process (for 3 months). If anything, it worsened it. In addition, Dr. Schram applied acupuncture for bruising (due to anemia) and I am bruise free. Aside from acupuncture, he was my chiropractor too. He gave me some adjustments for neck pain. When I look back, I wish I had know Dr. Schram sooner. Living a better today & looking forward, I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Schram. I HIGHLY recommend him as an acupuncturist and chiropractor, if you are lucky enough to find him here.
