Barnes and Noble

I was browsing at Barnes and Noble on a Saturday night and I was kind of aimlessly browsing through the tables of books, when suddenly I realized I left my phone when I went to pick up a book. Panicked, I retraced my steps to all the book sections I went to - and this involved going up and down the escalators to three different floors. Finally, I got back to square one, and just asked someone at customer service. Luckily, they had it behind the counter - thank goodness nobody was mean enough to steal a cell phone here! So, for this incident alone, I am eternally grateful to the staff here.??Anyway, as far as the store goes, I really like it. It is way better layout-wise than Borders in Penn Station because there's a lot more room.

I didn't feel like I was breathing down someone's neck when browsing the tables of books. They have a sizable section of bargain books upstairs, and they even have them in shelves against the wall, as opposed to those giant shelves chilling on the floor, which was neat and different.??

Their journals are really pretty. I saw some collaborations with some artists/bag designers, like Vera Bradley journals for B&N. Also, like others have said in previous reviews, there is a very big cafe on one of the levels here with lots of room to sit and read.??If you are a member of B&N you can save 10% off all of your everyday purchases that aren't already marked down 40% or whatever, hooray!

Reading is Fun

With todays ease of technology, I rarely go out and buy as many books as I used to. Nevertheless, Barnes and Noble continues to be one of my favorite passtimes. I love browsing through their collections of books. And I like to see which is the next book that I want to get my mind wrapped around. Though I have been reading all my books in the last 3-4 years in PDF format, I still find myself buying that book that I feel like I must have in hard copy. I also find myself buying a lot of childrens books.

I stopped by over the weekend and enjoyed a muffin while reading one of their books off the shelf, for free, at the caf?. This location has a very small caf?, but nine times out of ten I have gotten a seat there. So, I will say thats cool. I also enjoy going to the 2nd floor, after walking through the maze of displays towards the front area. They have a great space to read to children on the 2nd floor. My little one loves coming here and enjoys hours of reading as well.
The staff at this location for the most part is friendly and have been helpful. This store has a large selection of magazines.
