Serving the New York,NY area

I've been here about 10 times. It's so consistent. I've never had a bad meal here. The servers are usually east side people who seem to live in the area. Cool place.

An old staple. The food is OK, service also OK, but it's consistent and has been for years. SOmetimes knowing what you're going to get is a good thing!

Chill place to grab some bacon and eggs for brunch. A little yuppified but still a fixture of East Village.

Been here a few times and nothing was ever great. The drinks are bleh and the food is blah. I ordered a soup before and it was barely warm. Ordered some tofu dish and it was a big, bland bowl of tofu chunks and some veggies. And I don't like that I had to wait for tables before and the food was never Worth the wait. It's nice there's a place open all night, but I'm going to search around more for another late-night joint because this place just doesn't make the grade. It should be called 7C, at best, was that corny? Ah, I don't care, I'm honest.

Time and time again 7A never fails to deliver. The breakfast burrito is so filled with flavor, it's hard to imagine food like this can come out of a 24 hour diner! This restaurant is unlike any other. The prices are fantastic too!

My friends and I went here for happy hour night last week. We had a great time. It wasn't overcrowded like some places tend to be. It was a great atmosphere and the drink specials were great! How can you argue with buy one get one drinks?!

My girlfriend and I went on a Monday night, and the place was nearly empty. We both ordered pasta dishes and thought that our respective dish was bland. It felt like the contents were thrown together quickly without much thought to presentation and taste. For a late night bite, this place is good. Most dishes are around $10, and the service was very prompt. But I honestly would not go out of my way for their food.

Went here last sunday and had an amazing brunch. Seating outside was available, and the server was amazing.

had a lunch date with friends recently and the food has really gone down hill here. the nachos were stale and the ceasar salad was served with raw, uncooked chicken. skip it folks

I've been enjoying 7A for years, the biggest draw being the carrot ginger dressing on their great salads! Bartenders are great, as are the giant martinis, sometimes servers can be a little aloof. Great for brunch, drinks, dinner, really anytime. theirs often a wait, but never too long.

I've been here a few times after work for a few drinks and some food. They have a good happy hour that starts at like 2pm and goes until 7pm, if i remember correctly. This is perfect for us who get out of work earlier than most others... There isnt a lot of space around the bar especially if you come with more than a few people but i guess it could be worse huh?... Good drinks, Good Happy Hour, Good food, Reason price, Layed back ambiance, Nice staff.

This place is such a great value! The only bad things about is that if you get the wrong table you have a lot of people sort of standing around you while eating but just request a table in the back to diminish that. I had the grilled chicken with salad and it was really good as was the ""Decent"" red wine. Very trendy, lively atmosphere and can't beat the price.\r \r

While the staff was attentive the food was disappointing. I ordered a special of goat cheese filled ravioli. They presented on a huge plate with a sprig of parsley and 10 pieces of ravioli. The ravioli was hard on the edges and the sauce was not that great. If it weren't for the bread they gave me I might have had to go elsewhere to eat. The portion was very limited. I am a big girl that enjoys eating. This left me thinking....""Where's the Beef"". I am not compelled to go back anytime soon. At a dollar ten for each of the 10 little morsels it was not worth 2.00.

I absolutely love brunches at 7A! Even though it is a popular brunch place, the wait is never more than 20 minutes long (in my experience) and the host/hostess and servers are very efficient and super friendly. The best part of it all is the food--where else in New York City can you get all of the following for a mere $11.95? Coffee or tea & orange juice & choice of an alcoholic beverage (i.e., mimosas, bloody mary, screw driver), plus a hearty portion of delicious entree complete with awesome sides? My personal favorite is french toast with bananas and strawberry butter, and a sausages on the side. The seating outside is wonderful during the warmer days. And they never rush you and keep your coffee cup filled all the time. Just thinking about it is making me hungry...do I really have to wait until the weekend?

I've been enamored with 7A for four years. The food is usually great and I love the fact that it's 24 hours. Last night, however, they broke my heart. After spending the evening the in emergency room, all I wanted to do was sit on my couch and have some dinner. I called at 10 and placed an order for delivery (an hour before they stop). When i called back to inquire about my food at 10:55, I was told that they were sorry, but that it was being packed up at that very moment and would be on its way shortly. At 11:30, I called back and was told my order was lost and that the delivery guy had already gone home for the night. I guess whoever took the order realized the mistake but didn't want to deal with at problem at the end of a shift. It's sad that this is how this restaurant feels it is appropriate to treat a regular customer.

I've been going to 7A since 2000, and the food is always excellent. \r \r I was sad when they took my favorite meal off the menu - it was a steamed veggie platter. For the girl who doesn't like vegetables...this was my favorite!\r \r Great atmosphere, even better food.

I live about 100 feet from this place, and while it's got decent eats and is reasonably priced .. people line up at this place on wkends for brunch like they're giving away money inside .. literally causes sidewalk gridlock .. I don't get it

7A's food doen't need to be as good as it is. You walk in expecting nothing but when the food arrives it's always great. I've been coming here for years because it's always so pleasant. No fuss. No attitude.
