I just started working in the area of this cozy restaurant...I had never paid much attention to it, as to be honest, its quite small and not much to look at from the outside but once you get in, you won't want to leave. I took my girlfriend here for the first time, a couple of weeks ago, and from the moment we walked in the door, we felt so welcome and taken care of, we would just look at one another every once in a while and smile...the loud and hilarious bartender, the extremely charming owner, the friendly staff and then the food! well, words can't describe. my girlfriend had this mustard chicken, which doesn't sound like much, but wow did she love it and obviously i did too. i had the paella, the spanish rice with seafood and chicken and it was amazing. i would definitely recommend this spot and remind people not to judge a book by its cover.
After reading rave reviews I decided to try the restaurant. Their signature dish is the duck. I really, really don't like duck - or at least the way I've had it prepared so far. I decided to try the duck. It was good ! Crispy on the outside and tender inside. My sis had the steak which was fabulous. Cherries Jubilee wasn't prepared how I expected but turned out to taste wonderful. The service was attentive - just the right amount. We did feel a little rushed towards the end of the meal. This seemed silly to us since half the restaurant was empty. Other than that one hiccup it was great. I am going back next week with some out of town visitors. Try it out! :)
