Certified Master Technician 25+ years of experience Jim was the first Certified John Deere Master Technician (received in 2007) in the Northeast part of the country. He has worked for local John Deere dealers throughout Maine. For the past 3 years Jim was located in North Carolina where he worked for Southeast Community College as an instructor teaching John Deere Technicians throughout the US the basics of electrical, hydraulics, and electronics as applicable to tractors and other equipment. Although Jim has specialized in John Deere he also has certifications Briggs and Stratton Master Technician, Kohler Engine Master Technician, Tecumseh Small Engine Specialist, and many Outdoor Power Equipment OPE Certifications. Jim will work on any make and model of equipment. One of Jims personal enjoyments is restoring Antique Tractors. He will provide this service as well. Owned and operated by Jim and Judy Prescott.
