Licensed Cosmetologist by the State of New York our specialty is serving clients with hair loss due to medical problems, chemotherapy, radiation, various types of alopecia and fashion of cause to change your style, color or maybe just for convenience. Cancer Hospitals, Cancer Organizations, Oncologist, Dermatologist and Beauty Salons have recommended us with confidence. We display a certificate of merit for support from Memorial Sloan Kettering in our studio. For many individual undergoing chemotherapy or radiation loosing hair can be more traumatic than the treatment itself. We are very sensitive to this issue. Our main goal is to help our clients' choose a style and color as close to their natural hair as possible. This helps tremendously during this very sensitive period. We recommend clients to come in prior to treatment for a consultation and fitting to be prepared prior to their hair loss. Fordham Wigs of Westchester has a very large selection of wigs in stock - synthetic modacrylic fiber and human hair (custom is also available). Wig size is important so each client is measured and fitted to insure comfort. We have private booths for your convenience.
