At the Miyako you can chose to dine at the Hibachi tables or at a regular dining table. The Hibachi tables are fun watching the chefs cook especially if you have children with you as they put on quite a show. They have a large list of sushi & such in addition to alcholic beverages to chose from. I enjoy the Hibachi menu & don't forget to order the fried rice with it. The lunch menu is an especially good deal for the price. It's fun, the food is good & it's entertaining. What more could you want?
Being Japanese, I am very picky about Japanese food served in the US. I found this restaurant exceptionally good even for my standards. I had a Chirashi and I can say this restaurant’s chef knows how to prepare it in the authentic Japanese way. The sushi rice was prepared just perfectly and selection of fish was also outstanding. Also, I need to mention that their miso soup was excellent with good dashi.
I. LOVE. This place. They are EXTRA friendly. All the time. I tried them for the first time on a Wednesday and have eaten there 3 days in a row. It's amazing. I suggest everyone STOP GOING ANYWHERE ELSE...... And patron Oishii in Algiers. You will not regret it. I love them. They know me by name already!
