General Info:
We invite you to come in to see our beautiful renovation project, and sample favorites from renowned Louisiana Chef, Nathan Richard. Richard has a strong background in the art of charcuterie, and the culinary instinct of a born-and-raised Louisianan. Chef Richard loves to experiment with flavors, and has brought to our quasi-British menu a Cajun twist. Instead of traditional bangers and mash, you'll find bangers and grits with black pudding and onion pan gravy. Scotch Eggs are served with boudin and collard greens. In addition to our dinner menu, we offer a wide selection of cocktails, bar snacks, and desserts. And don't forget-live music nightly! The bar is well known for the best and largest martini selection in town - single malt scotches, ports, reserved bourbons and premium cigars. Live music nightly showcases a changing cadre of small ensembles, jazz and cabaret performers. Happy Hour: Daily: 4pm - 7pm Dining Hours: Sun - Thurs: 4pm - 10pm Fri - Sat: 4pm - 11pm

Overall
VERY disappointing, avoid this place

My wife and I came down to enjoy some martini's on the whim of a recommendation from a friend. I will think twice about listening to that person again. When we first arrived, they must have asked us 3 times what we wanted to order in just a few short minutes. It felt like they wanted us in and out of there ASAP. We requested to sit in the court yard for some fresh air (it's very dark in there) and they said sure. Once out there we must have waited over 45 minutes before giving up and walking to a server to get drinks. Both the server and the bartender rudely refused to bring our order and said we had to order directly from the bar. I have had better service at MacDonald's. We were shocked at the horrific attitudes from their staff and will do our best to make sure our friends and colleges aren't punished with the same experience. The funny thing is we were in town for an conference that had almost 40,000 people in attendance. You can guarantee next year that we will tell as many of them as we can, to not touch this place with a 10 foot pole.

Overall
great service and bar.

my friend and i visited the bombay club when we were staying at the prince conti hotel during our spring break trip. we had a truly great experience. i ordered the fish and chips and was not disappointed. they have a really extensive martini selection and our bartender was great and recommended drinks for us even though we werent even sitting at the bar. ( and he didnt just recommend the 12 dollar martinis either) i would have to recommend this restaurant for anyone who just wants a low key dinner in a nice quiet place with a wonderful courtyard as well.

Disappointing New Years Dinner

Avoid this restaurant. The bar is okay if you just want drinks. My date and I ate an early dinner here on New Years Eve, 2004-2005. We had a set menu. Nobody else was in the restaurant except for a European couple just married. Dinner for two cost $171. I had a $10 martini and my date had a glass of water. For the price of that meal, you'd expect the food to be amazing. It was not. The food was disappointing. The duck soup was bland and heavy. The walnut salad was not as good as it could have been. The veal was pretty good, but not worth $72. Dessert was okay. It could have been better for those prices. I've had fabulous dinners at upscale restaurants before, and this was not one of them. It's a tourist trap. Avoid eating here. Drinks are okay.
