Needs to get over itself!
First off, this is a VERY expensive restaurant. There is no real reception area, so when you walk in you are IN the restaurant. My dad and my husband were parking the car, and the hostess made us stand there until they came in, as the whole restaurant is staring at you. That is, until we demanded that we be seated. It was ridiculous.
Then, my mom ordered the salmon, but asked that it be ""well-done"", as she just doesn't like it medium rare. We were told the chef REFUSED to cook it any other way than it was offered. What kind of crap is that??? What if she had an allergy to one of the ingredients...would he have accomodated her?
All the staff just need to get over themselves. They all seemed snotty. We have too many good restaurants here for that kind of attitude. I will say, however, if you are going to go, absolutely get their signature cocktail, the Herbsaint champagne cocktail, because it is truly divine! Maybe I'll get one in a to-go cup next time I pass by, because I wouldn't go in that restaurant again for any longer than that.
