Bourbon Orleans

I had my wedding at The bourbon orleans and it was the BEST day of my life! I had tons of family that came in from out of town and they all stayed at the hotel. They went out of their way to help us around the clock. I stayed in the owner's town house before the wedding day and it was AMAZING! The wrap around balcony from Orleans to Bourbon Street made the night before my wedding spectacular! We had soo much fun. The door men from the bar across the street was even joining in on the fun! There was more than enough room for me and a few guests. We also stayed in the presidential suite which was also AMAZING! The bar downstairs was great to have drinks at before, up to, and after the wedding. It was a favorite for my male guests to watch the LSU basketball game throughout the reception. The only bad experience we had was the food at the restaurant. The food was not that great and the prices were too high. The server was not that professional or attentive. A bit of advice to those of you that will be leaving on Sunday morning.... carry your own luggage. We waited for a good 30 minutes for someone to show up to the room for the luggage. I ended up putting most of my things in my car while waiting for someone. Other than those few problems we had a great time.. great location... you are right there in the middle of the new orleans activities!
