Not good

The service was the best part of the RESTURANT. The food was slow to come out and did NOT TASTE GOOD. I give this place a thumbs down The bread didn't even taste good

Great location

This restaurant's best feature is it's location, not its food. The food elsewhere is better and less expensive.

Not worth the price

We are from Louisiana but this was our first time eating here. Our bill was 106.00 for 4 drinks, 2 entrees, 1 small salad, and 1 dessert. Entrees not big. We were hungry in an hour. Drinks were good but the food wasn't worth the money. Food was ok but we could have gone to acme had a lot of food been full and paid less.

Very well known, upscale resta...

Very well known, upscale restaurant in the French Quarter. It has a great menu which was not inexpensive but very well worth it. The food was most excellent. When dining out, I appreciate the food, the atmosphere and perhaps most importantly the service. The staff was friendly, respectfully and seemed to genuinely care about us enjoying our dining experience. I would give the atmosphere an A, the food an A and... view more

First Restaurant I visited in NOLA

This was our 1st stop on our visit to NOLA and I must say the restaurants atmosphere was really nice and the food was okay. I guess I was really expected much more was a "Cajun City" but that was not the case. I will say that they do have good drinks. Trust me when I say there are a few other places that offer much better food.

Every time we visit New Orleans I cannot wait to eat at Bourbon house!! I love this place. Definitely sit at the Oyster Bar and order the Devil Stuffed Crab appetizer and the house salad!!! The guys at the Oyster bar will keep you entertained!! Yeah the service is a little slow but this place isn't chili's. You don't come here to eat and run. Get a grip! It's the big easy!!!

For a great experience, eat at the bar

I visited the Bourbon House with shaky expectations; I feared the quality would be compromised as it was situated directly on Bourbon Street, but my qualms were soon eased. Stepping into the restaurant from Bourbon Street was like stepping into another world. The lighting was delicately warm and accented by chic decorations. I sat at the bar and was attended to with the best service I have ever had, especially at a... view more

rude, rude, rude....

I visited NO last week. It looked nice and clean from outside, so my group would like to try there. I had one of the worst services here. \r We ordered a dozen of oyster, and our server confirmed it twice. However, our server brought half of dozen and told us we ordered half of dozen. The way of he talked to us very rude. \r Foods were okay. Gumbo was salty. Later, we asked for separate checks, since it was a busi... view more

Classy place and nice to visit

My husband and I took my mother, who was visiting NOLA, and we're glad we did. The service after the lunch rush was great. Her dish was wonderful. Ours werent' so great. The servings weren't big at all, but we were happy to experience such an upscale place. However, park somewhere cheap because you'll end up paying a lot for a meal and almost as much in parking if you're in a 10-block vicinity.
