Actually, Ritz-Palaceton, the Lions Head and all of the architectural touches can be credited to the previous owners, Gulf South Theaters. They built The Palace 20 and AMC came along a few years later and bought them out. That's why the theater looks so unlike any AMC you've ever seen. Gulf South Theaters was a locally owned company. Locally owned companies appear to be an endangered species nowadays.

This theatre is kind of ghetto, but I have fond memories of being a UNO student who would take the bus straight from my dorm's front door to the theatre and seeing a lot of movies there for an inexpensive price. Glad to see it's still around.
I order 2 40ft dumpsters. Really affordable. I didn't pay any delivery fees and i kept them for 2 weeks. I call them on a Saturday they came that following Monday. A pleasure to do business with. Gail
