From its founding in 1927 by Alexander Winnick, our firm has been dedicated to providing a broad range of professional services, while maintaining a close and trusting relationship with the clients we serve. Al Winnick, a New Haven native and Yale Law School graduate, was a prominent member of the Connecticut bar, specializing in personal injury, medical malpractice and representation of family-owned businesses. Today, his son, Edward B. Winnick, a native of New Haven and graduate of Yale Law School, is our senior partner, and Joshua A. Winnick, his grandson, who is a graduate of Harvard College, is also a member of the firm. Together, they carry the Winnick tradition of "lawyering" in New Haven into its third generation. Our firm has grown in size and additional areas of practice have been added, but our philosophy of assisting our clients in all aspects of their professional and personal lives has not changed. Our firm is small enough to provide a close, personal relationship with each client, while fully capable of assembling a team of expert attorneys to provide for a wide range of needs.
