Tried to transfer Rx's for my mother and they turned us away right off the bat when they heard the insurance. First the pharmacist John said they didn't take her insurance, which they really did. After pushing the issue enough he admitted that they do take it but they don't get reimbursed well from them. He also wasn't excited about the idea that she has a control substance Rx and transferring 7 regular Rx's. In the end he pretty much admitted it would be too much work and it was not best for his business. Well, he doesn't understand business very well because I was bringing more than just her over to the pharmacy. I was bringing my whole family. So i'm pretty sure the pharmacy would of made a profit from this. You would think a small-town locally owned pharmacy wouldn't treat their fellow citizens this way. Really short-sighted thinking on his part.
