        Established in 1891 by Ludwig Benjamin August Krzyszke as a wagon/blacksmith shop. Ludwig prospered in the growing village of Waltz. Sons Carl F. and Emil A. continued on with business and family in the village. The family expanded the business into a General Store & Hardware/Building Materials/Coal & Propane. Carl F.'s children Carl and Lenore, and Emil A.'s children Elwood, Lyle, Noreen, Nelda, Emil J., Donna, Mildred, and Elden continued and grew the business. Lyle's sons Wynn and Kent, and Emil J.'s son John are the current caretakers of the family business with help from their children Kyle, Dan, Evan, Carla, Kent R. & Rachel. A lot has changed in over 100 years, including the spelling of Krzyszke/Krzyske, but a customers comment still holds true "We are hard to spell, but easy to get along with".

        Before we hit the big box stores for anything, we check with Krzyske Brothers first! They are always there to help and very friendly...they really do appreciate our business and it shows!

        I called to have my gas stove converted into propane by switching the valves . They came right out to complete the job , in no time . I was highly impressed with their professionalism and responsiveness to my call :) thanks guys

        Terrible customer service and very rude phone manners. This company will not make an Emergency tank re-fill 5 hours before they are closing on a Saturday when they are closed on Sunday. I even said that I would pay extra for the special delivery. We were told that the propane delivery driver cannot be reached once they leave for deliveries. Who doesn't have a cell phone these days.....especially if your driving a propane truck!!! My family was without heat and hot water for the weekend all because this company could not stop for 10 minutes and fill our tank. Our service will be canceled!!!!
