The owner of this gym knows cheer and is great at creating and putting into place winning routines. She is also a very nice person. They also try to stick with the same uniform for three years at a time to give parents an opportunity to sell and buy used ones a couple of times. And, although in competitive cheer, all of the girls on every team wear make up, they are tasteful in the uniforms and make up they choose for the already adorable little girls. They do not look like street walkers and their bellies do not hang out, which I appreciate. That being said...it is VERY disorganized. The lack of communication with parents is atrocious! There should be a weekly e-mail/newsletter or something that goes out to all parents to keep them up to date on the latest updates and information. There is nothing of the kind set into place. There is NO air conditioning in the gym. So, be prepared to be HOT in the summer until that is installed if that happens. Our team has been the only team without actual uniforms all season. We are at the mercy of the company that is creating them, however, I feel there had to have been some short falling on the part of this gym in the beginning for the season to be nearly over, and our girls being literally the ONLY team without uniforms at every competition. I would not tell anyone not to go here, but I feel anyone who would be dishing out the amount of money it takes to be part of competitive cheer should be informed when making their decision on the gym.
