Evaluation: Neuropsychological evaluation is an evidence-based method for identifying cognitive and behavioral strengths and weaknesses. This evaluation can be helpful to you, your family, and treatment team. Using your strengths, we develop strategies to work with the weaknesses, to improve functioning in your daily life. Treatment: I provide treatment for individuals, couples, and families that clinical evidence has shown to be most effective for their presenting problems. I specialize in adults who are experiencing difficulty with memory, thinking, understanding, and mood caused by:• Cerebrovascular changes including stroke • Mild cognitive impairment (MCI), Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and other dementias • Traumatic brain injury (TBI) • Medical conditions affecting neurological functioning • Adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD-A) • Post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) • Catastrophic injury Education: Understanding how the brain affects behavior is the first step to creating meaningful and lasting improvement in daily living.Knowledge and understanding become powerful tools for improving the quality of life for you and your family.
