A standout dealership, salesman Vinny and finance person Ken. I made the process longer than it should have been due to indecisiveness and an unknown financial glitch. Huge patience by all at J & M until I was totally confident and comfortable with my purchase decision. The people are great (specifically the type of people you want to deal with), the environment inside and out on the lots is pleasant and inviting and the cars are priced to sell. Good deals abound. The difficult decision is which of the good deals to select. No pressure from Vinny, Ken or J & M. Instead an honest interest in making certain that the buyer is comfortable with the purchase before the purchase is made. Whether the people, the showroom, the ample and loaded lot or the practices of J & M (including willingness/encouragement to have the vehicle checked by the buyer's mechanic, vehicles priced to sell and significantly better deals than other lots, etc.), dealing with J & M, Vinny and Ken is a very positive experience. My next vehicle purchase will be at J & M. There is no reason to go anywhere else. Though I had never even heard of J & M prior to a late November or December 2012 start in checking out dealerships in Bridgeport and Milford and beyond to Naugatuck, no other deaership can match the used car inventory, pricing and experience. This place is a slam dunk. Don't waste time going anywhere else if you seek a used vehicle. You will not do better than J & M.

everyone I ever talked to at J&M has always been nice to me and my family. There is always someone around to make sure that you are thought of as a Customer. The open floor plan of the new Salesroom kind of makes it difficult for the Receptionist to point out, but the other guys say hi and point you in the right direction. My family has been with J&M since I bought my car since 2008, when I bought a 2002 Mazda 626. Suffice to say, every time I brought it in, they helped make everything better, and without too much fuss. Then my father and sister also bought cars from them as well. When the Mazda crapped out this past month, I dragged my hubby in with me to look at their selection, and he was FLOORED at the professionalism with everyone we met. We were able to buy the car that day. A Red Honda Accura from 2012. It was a bit busy when we were there, but it was Saturday. We expected that... Dave was pretty frazzled, but he took his time to make sure we were happy with our choice, and that we had checked the car out from top to bottom. Every time I talk to him, he knows his stuff. Which is key to me. Steve is a character, but he made the whole finance experience THAT much easier. They really do try to cater to everyone's needs, especially when it comes to finances. I had crappy credit when I walked in both times, and we were still able to get a good deal. Will definitely be going back!
I don't even know where to begin....I was very leery as I have been to many used dealerships who said I was approved and then on arrival they would ask for more $$ down etc....but I was looking for a specific car with low mileage and they had it. Kyle was key for getting me in that door! He reassured me that he had an approval for me and answered every one of my questions in a manner that impressed me (I don't impress easy)! Kyle is the icing on the cake because when I walked in that dealership I felt like I was with family! Dave DeCarlo, my salesman was just awesome, not pushy at all and laughed at all my jokes! Kudos.. The finance guys were just shocking to me I was expecting fast talking wheelers and dealers but instead I felt like I was making a deal with a good friend/family member. I had some issues with DMV from 10 yrs ago and it was a mess....every employee that was able to help get it straightened so we could register the car did so, even the owners mom!!! To say they went above and beyond is an understatement. Thank you!!
