Xavier University sponsors 18 intercollegiate sports at the NCAA Division I level, including men’s and women’s teams in basketball, soccer, cross country, indoor and outdoor track and field, swimming, golf and tennis. Xavier also competes in baseball and women’s volleyball. All of Xavier’s 18 sports competes in the BIG EAST Conference. Xavier saw two teams qualify for NCAA Tournament competition this past academic year, including men’s basketball (eight of the last 10 years ), and baseball. Men's tennis , men's golf, track and field, men's and women's soccer and volleyball are among the other current Xavier sports that have recently earned spots for placed individuals in the NCAA field. . In addition to being nationally-competitive on the fields and courts, Xavier is consistently among the 25 schools in the nation in the NCAA’s Graduation Success Rates.
