The name says it all. Woodruff Tree Trimming & Removal. We remove trees. Have you had enough of the crap that gigantic Chinese Elm drops on your back patio? You want some firewood left? NO PROBLEM! You want the stump out? NO PROBLEM! The tree is in your side yard and there is limited space and you're concerned about the safety of your house? NO PROBLEM! A question you should always ask a potential tree company (or guy) is: "Are you insured?" If they're insured, they can get you a certificate of liability insurance and worker's compensation insurance. Whether or not they have insurance might mean the difference between a new roof for you or "sorry - we didn't mean to puncture that two foot hole in your roof!" Accidents can happen, though we try REALLY hard to make sure they don't. In case something does happen and we're your tree company, you're covered. Tree Pruning So you LIKE the tree but it is just getting too big? Is your apple tree healthy but looks like a huge ball of jungle? Are the willow branches scraping on the side of the house in the wind giving your kids nightmares? Tree removal is not ALL we do. These problems are an easy fix (and probably not as expensive as you thought.) Keep in mind that if you want a MASSIVE prune job done on any tree, winter is the best time. Trimming trees when they are dormant are much easier on the health of the tree. I'd never cut into a fruit tree to do a complete prune anytime but winter. Even if WE aren't your tree company of choice - don't let someone else do it either. Wait until winter. Your trees will thank you!! Stump Removal Okay, you're getting sick of tripping over that stump in the back yard that the last home-owner didn't bother to take out when they chopped down the pine tree. It would be SO nice to just mow over that - in fact it would be so nice if there was GRASS there instead of that stump. Your plan to let it rot out is losing steam because you've come to realize that it's going to take about 150 years. That's where we come in. We'll grind out the stump and leave nothing but the sawdust/dirt mix. OR if that STILL sounds like too much work, we'll take the sawdust, fill the hole in the ground and plant sod.
