I would not trade at any other place but Walgreen's. When we went out of town to Waco, I found the same great service that I come to expect. Wonderful people and fast friendly service.
The assistant manager Ms. Hopper is fantastic! She always makes the customer feel appreciated and it's a pleasure to shop there.
My roommate goes here and speaks highly fo them
great weekly sales and always in stock
Good sales and always have everything in stock
They'll Lose Your Photos!
I took my vacation pictures to their 48th and O Streets location. When I put the picture card in their machine it crashed with the card in it. It completely wiped the card and destroyed the pictures.
I told the clerk and she acted like I was lying. I checked the corporate website and it said that they keep backups for 3 days to two weeks so I called the manager, who barely listened to me before shooting my back to the same woman. She had me talk to the tech who refused to even check. I was treated like I was some sort of liar or skammer and didn't even get an apology for their losing my pictures. That's all I wanted to make it right with me.
So I wrote corporate an email and haven't received either a reply or an apology. At this point I've taken all of my business elsewhere. There's nothing they can do to make it right with me now.
Walgreens has everything you neeeeeeeed!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Walgreens on Division and 28th and the Walgreens on 28th and Kalamazoo are the two worst Walgreens. They have terrible customer service. If you go during the afternoon, expect to wait at least 30 minutes before you talk to anyone. When you finally do get service, it will be from someone who is unhappy to help you and unwilling to fix any problems that may arise during the billing process. For example, I keep having the same problems with a particular refill--it eventually gets remedied-- but when I try to have the same prescription refilled again, it causes the same problem and the same hassle. Why can't they learn from their mistakes? I'm taking my prescription elsewhere because I do not have time to make four trips for one refill.
We needed a Dr on a Sunday and Walgreens was one of the few places (other than the expensive and busy local ER) that was open. We arrived very near their closing time, but despite that check in was quick and easy and they were pleasant and respectful. The Dr. gave excellent input, seemed to care not only about the 'job' but about my son and myself as a person. Gave my teenaged son age-appropriate advise and no lectures on what we had done wrong....just gave us the correct info for next time. Was even patient with a fidgety preschooler who was with us. Also touched on some points / gave advise on issues we were concerned with that had nothing to do with the reason for our visit. When she gave us the prescriptions she even recommended we go to a different location to have the antibiotic filled since that place would fill it free of charge. All in all a much better visit than I anticipated. Cost was about standard, actually less than I was anticipating. Will definitely use them again.
I can't believe Walgreens pays their employees to push each other around the store on a big blue cart. from the pharmacy thru the store pushin thier way past customers in line and in chairs waitng on their meds, 2 girls from behind pharmacy come out one pushing the other and goofin off instead of one taking the cart out to the back of store and the other should have helped the line of customers in line.I was staying out of the way so i didn't get ran over. Walgreens does not want to take medicaid patients cause of pay but will [pay thier employees to goof off and not wait on customers. this was on the second week of July. I'm sure they saw these employees on video.
Walgreens is a great spot to get your everyday needs. The nice thing is that there are so many spots and you will get the same thing at each one. Nothing is too expensive and when you need your meds/drink/random item, Walgreens is the spot. Its also helpful that many of them are 24 hours.
This walgreens is great. It's incredibly clean and the staff is friendly and nice. The pharmacist behind the counter always took the time to speak to me about my prescriptions when I needed something. They also have a reasonable food selection that isn't jacked up in price.
My husband has cancer and requires numerous trips to the pharmacy every month. There are some good pharmacists there, but there are also many who do not care about the customers. In this last case I dropped off the prescription 5 days before the refill date. I also called 2 days before to Verify that it would be covered and ready. So I was quite upset when they had not filled it because of some bureaucratic rules with the insurance. If this was the first case, I would have written it off as just a mistake. But I have gone through this many times before and I am sure my blood pressure has suffered from my frequent visits to Walgreens. I am now looking for a good pharmacy that won't stress me out every other time I fill a prescription.
I always enjoy my visits to Wal greens. They have a large supply of medical and medicine, as well as the store always being really clean.
After years of dealing with another local pharmacy, Walgreens came in and turned what I could only describe as a nightmare when it came to dropping or and/or picking up prescriptions. For the most, their staff(now) is knowledgeable. And if they can not answer something, they will find the answer for you. ( If you get a chance, do stop and and say hellp to Sandy!) I would be over joyous if the old pharmacy manager Tony would come back ( as well as a Tech that just recently left) These three crew members of the pharmacy were steller.. always gave you their complete attention when it came to matters of your health and meds you currently take.
I tried the (888) 260-8006 number several times never was able to get the phone number to Walgreens in Prescott Valley, AZ. I was calling from 928-632-9345 and my area code is 86333. I tried to enter 86333928 and 96333632 and all I got was instruction to reenter the numbers again.
Thanks Sam Warren
