I was looking for a piecemeal shop for some very minor sheet metal fabrication, but, clearly, this company isn't for me. But, I loved their "General Info," above! Great detail showing pride in their history! (n.b., since I didn't use them I don't feel right in giving them a rating, but, YP requires it, so I gave them a rating based on this great info, which far exceeds anything I've seen on YP or anywhere else on the... view moreLike this review?Yes|Flag Abuse

- General Info:
- Trenton Sheet Metal - The Art of Industry Since 1912 While most of our work is industrial, Trenton Sheet Metal has long worked with artists and inventors, producing sculpture as well as prototype machinery. Our jobs range in complexity from covering church spires to making components for nuclear plants. TSM fabricates in all kinds of metal and does all types of welding. We will form, shear, and roll-shear a sheet of metal up to 3/8-inch thick in metal patterns of any size and shape. Trenton Sheet Metal custom-produces everything from commercial ventilating systems to cranberry tanks to designer beds for rock and roll stars. History: Frederick F. Scheich, an Austro-Hungarian immigrant who had been trained as a tinsmith in his homeland, began his own business in the basement of his house in Trenton, New Jersey 1912. He used a bicycle to get to jobs and deliver materials until, in 1915, he needed bigger quarters and a car. Five years later he moved again, to 30 Adam Avenue, where the business is still located. By the 1920's his company was one of the area's largest sheet metal houses, employing as many as 200 workers. Following the founder's death, the firm was purchased in 1951 by four partners: George L. Fluck, Joseph P. Somogyi, Russell H. Bogert, and John B. Cole, Sr. Six years later Fluck retired, and the remaining three partners bought his share and that of the Scheich family. Since 1963 the firm has been entirely owned by the Somogyi family.
