I just need to know about the one in Jenks Oklahoma. Jenks schools are known by many to be top in Tulsa and surrounding areas. I want reviews on Goddard in Jenks, not all these other places where people get mad at the school because they are broke. Just an honest truthful summary for 1 year olds at the Jenks Goddard School.

All of you have to understand this childcare teachers are being under paid. And then on top of that the owners are responsible for it not saying its an excuse but for the good teachers.. all of them have to go to school for this and go to school for that and still have to come to work and deal with rude parents and misbehaved children while not being appreciated by owner nor parents at time and most are yet still dedicated to teaching your children while getting paid 7.67-8.00 an hour possibly a little more. God bless
Stay Away!!! Health is not the owners priority! Serious outbreak took place and no one notified parents! I am OUT!
Ummm children learn best through play........
1. Hope you don't get in a class with the owners (Erie, CO) children. All other kids come 2nd to them. Her son is a bully and had to be removed from the school for being too aggressive with other children, but it's the other kids who get mistreated.
2. They can't keep teachers - my son had 6 different teachers in 18 months and the last one was "looking for a real job" a couple weeks after being hired.
3. Very clean (owner was a nurse, but has no education background), but extremely unprofessional on the education front. When you ask them education questions, they never have the answer. ex. Is his speech delayed? "I don't think so?!?"
The Goddard School in Canton, near the Publix, has provided a wonderful environment for our son. With a caring staff and great classmates, he has advanced so much quicker than the last daycare we used. My wife and I are enthusiastic about the curriculum that will allow him to easily move into, and exceed in, regular school when he turns five. All in all I highly recommend this facility.
Have visited several in FL, VA, NC and PA. All have the quality a child deserves. For a reason this brand is opening all over the country
I took my two sons to the Goddard school in Pearland, what a mistake. The teachers are terriblle, the owners are even worse. They do the minimum possible.
My children have attended The Goddard School in Orange Ct. One of them graduated from there last year and went on to public school well ahead of other children in his class. I would love to thank all the teachers and management team for providing a warm and loving enviornment. My children loved going to school every day and what they have learned is unbelievable! The school is always very helpful and accomodating to my family's needs. Great job on their customer service!
This day care has really gone downhill. It is a revolving door fore teachers, who seem to get younger and more inexperienced every few months. They do the bare minimum that they can get away with. There is hardly any learning going on anymore. It used to be a good program, but it is just not worth it anymore.
The director is rude and disrespectful and not concerned about the kids or the parents. The focus is on keeping costs low, not on welfare of the kids. This decline is rather sad.
The instructors are absolutely gifted in their ability to work with the children. Our daughter learned things we never imagined she was ready for at a very early age. Each location is franchised, but all go by the same standards set by the corporate office. The activities are fun, educational and our child loves going! Well worth the money!!
Before I went to The Goddard School, I went in other centers, when I was walking in this center in Stafford, I thought was the one I was looking for. My nice learned a lot thank you all the good teachers that was working there . I think is the best that you can find.
I couldn't in good conscience recommend the Goddard School in Independence Ohio. Although it is bright and clean, the pleasant attitude ends when you sign on the dotted line. The daily activity reports are inaccurate, claiming that your child participated in everything but if you ask your kid you'll find that they spent the day playing, not learning. Communication with parents was spotty and interaction between parents was certainly not encouraged. Teachers don't bother to hide their fatigue, often complaining that they cannot wait to go home.
I was like most who tour Goddard - yes it's nice but I could make a car payment on an Escalade for what they charge! Everyone was nice (surprise?). Anyway the best thing was that they discounted my tuition by around 15%! It was not easy to get them to come around however they did! It's a great school and with the discount it's perfect! So go for it!
If anyone has any suggestions of day care centers, please write to me at Elizzy22@aol.com. I have looked at the Goddard School and am having some sticker shock! I am not sure my husband and I can afford it? She did not tell me about any payment plans or anything... any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Terrible school with only getting money from you, not your child's development.
My kids all go to Goddard on Higley & Baseline that has been open for a few years. It is extremely expensive and the teacher turn over is fairly high, but it has gotten better and I feel my kids are safe & cared for. The facility is always clean and the owner & director are always walking around and available when needed. I wish they did more discounts for long term families or a higher sibling discount, it would make it easier for me to suggest it to others.
get source for safe dependable child care.
personally I think my children deserve the same education and attention as every other child in this country. My boys are attending a school that is even better than this school for less than half the price. This school is ridiculously expensive!!!!! Who the heck can afford what these people are asking??? What about the low-income parents? Yea sure, they accept assistance but they also expect you to pay the difference also on top of a co-payment. They are out of their mind. In my opinion they are more worried about money than taking care of the children. Secondly, the turn-over for the teachers are ridiculous. How can children adapt and learn when they have a new teacher for everyday of the week. I think whoever pays the school the amount they are asking for, are out of their mind!
This school is not even open yet so how can you say it is great? Sounds fishy to me!
The Goddard School in OakLeaf Plantation just celebrated our one-year anniversary on March 19, 2008. We have received a warm and enthusiastic response in the community. Regards, School Owner
