        The Composting Warehouse offers two composting tumbler in United States, the JK 125 and the JK 270. The JK 125 is smaller in size and has a capacity of 14 lbs. of waste per week. The JK 270 is larger and has a capacity of 34 lbs. of waste per week. When compared to other composting products, the Joracomposter is highly effective and will give outstanding results because of two main reasons: Rotation is the keyMixing is necessary for composting to work, both for bringing fresh waste into contact with already decayed material, thereby rendering the process more effective, and in order to add air, necessary for the high demands for oxygen the process makes. Rotation is a simple matter, as the Joracomposter is specially constructed for this purpose. Insufficient aeration can lead to unpleasant odors in the compost. Heat and efficiency The breakdown of organic material into compost generates heat through the action of micro-organisms. Different micro-organisms start working at different temperatures. The Joracomposter is well insulated and this allows the temperature to achieve at least 167 degrees Fahrenheit. The inbuilt insulation allows the composter to reach these temperatures which means that the micro-organisms requiring such temperatures can do their work, something that is almost impossible to achieve in an uninsulated composter. Using an insulated, rotating composter ensures a more even heat distribution and an active decomposition process throughout the entire volume of waste. This is why composting is so rapid, occurring in approximately 6 – 8 weeks time. The high temperature makes the Joracomposter especially suited for kitchen waste, both cooked and uncooked, including meat and fish scraps. The Joracomposter is divided into two compartments to make emptying and maturing the compost easier.
