We've worked with this law firm for a couple years--they get the job done but customer service is NOT their forte. Read the small print--"gotcha" fees became annoying. It's hard to find good reviews on bankruptcy attorneys--we found SL through an ad in the yellow pages + they had a convincing website. I don't know how many times we had to wait several days for calls or emails to be returned.
There has been at least 4 occasions where it took over 5 business days for Sarah to call us back when we had questions about our case. Sarah also failed to file our paperwork on time for a particular (important) motion--it ended up being okay, but it delayed our case by a month.
Since you have to pay all of your attorney fees up front--you're then stuck with that attorney (unless you feel like repaying all those fees to another attorney). Most of our headaches began AFTER we paid Sarah her attorney fees. On top of being impossible to get a hold of, she misquoted our chapter 13 payment plan by $450/month--That's an additional $20,000 over the course of a 5-year plan.
The times that we were able to reach her--she just seemed frazzled and disorganized.
When going through something as difficult (and confusing) as a bankruptcy and potential foreclosure--nothing is more frustrating than your attorney not returning your calls in a timely manner and being disorganized with your case.
Sarah's office staff was always friendly and easy to work with.
