I have a 2008 Lamborghini Gallardo and had a rear tire go bad and the TPS (tire pressure sensors) acting up. The Lamborghini dealer wanted around 1,500 dollars just to replace the sensors in all 4 tires.
Well I went to see Skip's tire and they replaced the sensors, checked the brakes and balanced all tires for 1/5 th the costs and also replaced one of my rear tires !! :-)
I have been going to Skip's for all my vehicles for the last 20 years and they always are there to help me with all my car / truck and off road vehicle needs. Thanks guys you are the best

Do not recommend this place for service, they say they have good "warranty" but it is just a false way to get customers.

I had a clutch repair done with this company in July 2014. 5 months later with normal driving, The clutch failed to engage while going up a hill on Taylor street, Downtown SF nearly getting in a car accident.

When I took the car in for "Warranty" claim they denied me cause to prevent getting in an accident from the failure, the flywheel and clutch got overheated and "abused". I've driven Manual transmissions my whole life and have never had an issue like this before.

They covered the Labor( whopping $500). They also charge double for parts and say its for "Warranty" purposes and "list price".

$904 clutch kit that they charge can be found for $350-400 but they won't cover the part after charging me double the first time.

Make sure you ask about the "List Price" of parts they want to charge you for. We asked about the price and they said they sell it at "List Price", but when they pulled up the list price it was $860. I was so mad I couldn't even talk to the guy who just showed us that he was screwing me over.

$405 flywheel, the exact same one can be found at a place close by for $250.

The only good thing about the place is that the labor price is fair, but apparently thier quality of work fails.

Buy the parts from a parts store and go somewhere else to save the trouble of overpaying on parts, cause if it fails here they will just charge you the high prices again.

Ive been going here for awhile now. They have the best customer service. Twice they have been nice enough to give me a lift home. Repairs are done within a reasonable amount of time.

They are very understanding and will work with you no matter what the situation is. And don't forget, best prices in town.

Very convenient & nice work. I love the convenience of having the work on our cars done while I'm at work. Add that to the knowledgeable and pleasant staff and reasonable prices and it's a win win situation.

I brought my car in for routine service. Had an oil change and transmission service. Since I recently purchased new tires, they recommended a tire rotation. Service was great and technicians were knowledgeable.

Skips tires where much help I went in gave them the size of my Volvo tire size and gave me the pricing for different types of tires from cheapest to expensive tires. They gave me suggestions and a print out of what was included because I wasn’t sure what I was able to afford at the time I was in there but they were very courteous and helpful.

I am extremely happy with the service I have received from Skips over the years. They have serviced 3 of my cars over the years. They are very reliable and do outstanding work.
