Silicon Valley Moving and Storage has done 2 moves for our family. The first was when my mother, who lived at the Forum in Cupertino, moved from her Independent Living condo to Assisted Living. Silicon Valley was on the list of Forum approved movers. They (3 man crew) arrived early (earlier than I did!) and were extremely courteous, personable, and professional. This was a very difficult time for me and I really appreciate the fact that they treated my mother's things with the utmost respect and care. They wrapped and protected things I wasn't expecting them to! They also had to take furniture to 4 different homes from Palo Alto to San Jose and put everything where it was supposed to go - even up stairs. I offered them drinks and snacks as they worked but they politely refused and took a very short break for lunch. They arrived at the last stop before I did (I was at the bank getting tips) and brushed off my apologies as unnecessary. Even when I discovered a corner of a protective glass cover was broken, I did not call them. I know it sounds like I'm making this up but they had done such a careful job and I know accidents happen.
The second move was when my mother passed away a few months later. I knew they were the ones I wanted to have move her items. A two man crew showed up and although they seemed a hair less painstaking than the first, they still did an outstanding job and exhibited all the courtesy, professionalism, and respect for myself and my mother's things as did the first crew. They had the same amount of homes to deliver to and even had to bring something back from one home to another.
I would not hesitate to hire or recommend this company for my or anyone's move!
