        The president of Shelton Painting Inc., Barry Shelton Sr., is a second-generation painter. His son, Barry Shelton Jr. is now a third generation painter. Barry Sr.'s father was a painter for over 30 years, and started his own company in the early 70's. Barry's father taught him a lot about painting, but the most important thing he taught him was to do a good job the first time around. He now passes this good information down to his own son and employees, telling them to take their time, and do a good-quality job the first time around and not to rush. In this way, everybody wins... the homeowner gets a good job, and we profit by not having to do the same job twice. Back when Barry Sr. was painting for his father, they were a company that brushed and rolled everything, there was no spraying. The employees were few, but not due by lack of work. It was because that's the way Barry's father wanted it... a company that only produced top-quality work, and never took on more work than they could handle. Quality was always of utmost importance then, and quality is of utmost importance now. Barry started painting for his father in the late 70's and then he went on to work for other companies as shop foreman, and supervisor of many men. Later, in 1999, he opened his own painting business. Barry wanted to make sure to have a paint shop with skilled craftsman that produced quality work the first time around, just like his father had always taught him. So today, Barry's goal is to keep his company small, but busy, and focused on providing top-quality work and doing a job the right way the first time. He makes sure that every customer is 100% satisfied. Our customers demand quality and we provide it. Barry currently has four employees. Each of the employees is qualified and conscientious. Each is diverse, and can perform various tasks well. They are eager to do work up to our quality standards, and are enthusiastic about learning new things. We consider every employee at Shelton Painting a very valuable asset to our company. We would not be where we are today without their loyalty, and hard work. We thank our employees for continuing to make our business a company with a "Reputation Built on Quality."
