SAC Energy

I've been dealing with SAC for years. Their price is always good, Jodi on the phone is always perfectly nice, and my delivery guy has been the same since day one. They always show the day they say they will. You shouldn't let yourself run out, pay attention to what is in your tank. SAC, like every other oil company is busy in the wintertime filling tanks, don't call a day or two before you're empty. That's really your mistake and sometimes you have to pay a premium to a company that charges too much in the first place and therefore isn't too busy to come out and save your as*. I've never had any problem with spills, although I do always notice the odor of oil in my house for a few days after I get a delivery, whether I have the tank filled or not, and no matter who makes the delivery. I mean, really, what do you want from a company other than reasonable prices and reliable delivery?

The woman on the phone is an absolute witch to anyone that calls in. She is rude and doesnt even say goodbye she just hangs up. We had them fill our tank and they OVERFILLED IT!!!!! They didnt bother to call and tell us while we were at work. They jusy left dirty scummy rags outside near the fil up. I had to clean up the oil in my basement and my house reaked of heating oil for days!!! Do not use this company!!!

As a long time customer of SAC Oil I had a very sad experience. Typically when i order order, I give SAC oil plenty of leadtime....they even thank me for that consideration as they are trying to reach customers who are totally OUT of home heating oil first. I have always paid SAC Oil COD, checks have never bounced....but when I personally had an experience of running out of heating oil when the temperatures were close to freezing, I called and they would not help me. I was very disappointed that I've given my loyalty to this company, never been a financial hinderence to them with paying for my oil and the very time I need help, they decline. I was forced into finding another source for oil, at a MUCH higher price INCLUDING a "same delivery day" fee penalty.

In today's economic environment, I was disappointed that a loyal customer received this treatment. I suppose I should re-evaluate my loyalty moving forward if it means nothing.
